Nice to hear all is running smoothly for you now!

I hear ya, if it's running good and fans are ok as is, no need to change things. I was just letting you guys know the amps per header because you asked previously.

Also, if you want you can test 1T vs. 2T by changing the setting within windows using CPU-Tweaker, and then testing with various bandwidth tools such as MexMEMM or Everest. Somethings 2T may be faster, not not usually, 1T is snappier for most things and is best to use with DDR3.

How much of a difference there is or isn't all depends on the test you run, and the settings being used.

hi, guys have been getting a fair few BSODS of recent and trying to sort them out but need, help i checked the event viewer and since the cinouter was built about 3 weeks ago ive had 20 critical errors all ranging in code ive started to work through them many are refering to memory and graphics card, if there is an issue with the memory will it screw around with the graphics card?

codes i have been getting are, and there amount of occurences so far

    0x0000007e 1
    0x0000003b 5
    0x0000001e 3
    0x000000d1 4
    0x0000001a 2
    0x0000007f 1
    0x00000024 1
0x00000050 1 (i know what this one is as per acebmxer's sig and this one occured awhile ago when i was setting the memory timmings)
    0x00000000 1

i have ran a few memtests and have all passed but i have not checked the ram sticks individually

if you require any information tell me and il get it.

im also having issues with .net framework v4 the event viewer is full off errors about not being able to run this and there is a program i use on old computer with framework .net v4 fine but wont work on new computer unless i uninstall v4 and install v3.5, any 1 have any ideas about that? or been experiencing the same thing.

Post your current bios settings. In the mean time try Loading optimized defaults then press F10 save and exit and then reapply your settings again manually. Dont load them from a profile. See if you still encounter problems and we can advise where to go.

i recieved a bsod earlier today refering to the qpi/vtt voltage, i ran a memtest and errors straight away so i upped teh qp[i/vtt to 1.355v ran 6 passes of memtest fine, i dont seem to receive many bsods say after the computer has warmed up abit there are more bsods when the computer gets turned on for the 1st time, seems weird.

When I set up my new system which is very similar to yours, I had a lot of teething problems, partly due to one bad stick of memory. That got me dinking with all the timings and voltages. When I got the replacement memory, I couldn't get it to run for beans listening to all the advise on how to set voltages and timings - until I cleared CMOS, reinstalled FB BIOS, took all stock voltages and times, and used the XMP profile to get the memory to run at 1600. Subsequently all the tweaking I've done has been through EasyTune6, and all those settings work too (memory runs fine about 1900), but I'm back to stock plus X.M.D. since I run nothing that requires the extra performance.

I've not had the problem, but there are a lot of posts about bent pins on CPU's when it won't run correctly out of the box. You might read some of those posts.

BTW, if your Western Digital is model WD1002FAEX-00Y9A0, you will need to contact Western Digital for a patch if you want to run it at 6 Gb/S. That batch was apparently misconfigured to run only at 1.5 and 3 Gb/S.

Good luck, hang in there and you will get it even though it seems like that will never happen.

cpu-z will read the actual cpu speed/voltages,0.928 is the idle voltages for the cpu, when any load is applied it will use full speed and volts, you can either disable c1e in the bios and then look in windows Control Panel\System and Security\Power Options

if you use balanced, cpu will throttle at idle,if you choose high performance the cpu wont throttle at idle, choose high performance and then load cpu-z,you will see full cpu speed and voltages then choose balanced and you will see cpu-z display cpu idle speed and voltages
