    Default Help with BIOS Settings to reach 4GHZ

    Motherboard: EP45-UD3LR Bios vF12b Rev 1.0
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 R0 2.93GHZ
    RAM: 2X1GB Crucial DDR2-800 1.80v 6-6-6-18
    PSU: THERMALTAKE 650W
    CASE: Thermaltake Shark
    VGA: PALIT GS-450 1GB DDR5
    Cooler: Corsair A50 (Tomorrow im getting Hydro H70)
    So far i have reached 3.8ghz fully stable 24/7 on all tests (OCCT,IntelburnTest,Prime95)
    This was achieved with all settings on auto and 400x9,5 max temps 72degrees (celcium)
    Im a little bit stuck on getting this to 4ghz
    Can any guru give me some baseline settings to start trying from so i can push this to 4ghz?

    mm well bios settings plz?
    do things like test your ram first..whats the max speed u can get out of it with a multiplier and at what voltage.

    The Computer Boots Propertly but get errors during OCCT Linpack Test.
    If i lower the voltages i get BSOD after a fewmins running OCCT.
    My highest Temps after 1h OCCT Linpack test according to CoreTemp are 74 Core 0, 75 Core 1. Tomorrow im getting the hydro H70 so im expecting ~10 degrees lower temps from the A50 im using atm.

    PS. Idle Actual Vcore 1.47v Full Load 1.44v

    I have the same CPU and board waiting to be fired up. soon I hope, so this better work.

    I had my E7500 on a P35 and it boote and ran Windows 7 at 450x9 with only 1.4v vcore or so, not tested for stability.

    Try upping PLL 1.55-1.59v.
    VTT look too high, better try tweaking CPU and MCH reference instead.

    Couldnt get it stable @ 4GHZ on air. Il try later with hydro h70 to see if i can.
    For the time it passed 8h OCCt Linpack Test @ 3.9ghz (390x10) and Vcore=1.42v

    There's no need to run Linpack for 8 hours.

    What is vcore under load? Maybe you could enable LLC(Load Line Calibration) and set it lower.
    It's a controversial feature so it's up to you to decide if you wish to use it or not.

    I tried with LLC but temps are 4-5 degrees higher. Under Full load vcore is 1.39vA
    What temperature drop should i expect with Hydro h70?
