there should be no need to contact Gigabyte, as the latest F11c for EP45-UD3p 1.0 and 1.1 (either version) should solve any Sandforce SMART errors. http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post369165

You can download F11c from the link in the first post in http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post267527.
Scroll down to the listing for your motherboard.

@Ken429, an interesting comment in Psycho101's link to post #3442:

If you use QFlash in the bios, you don't need an EXE program file for bios flashing.
QFlash can access the actual bios file from a floppy disk, or any FAT 32/16/12 disk partition, including USB drives.

You should use QFlash to save your current bios and saved bios profiles before you flash, in case you need to flash back to your current bios version and profiles.

Check out the http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ash-guide.html for more information.

** edit ** There's a broken link in the bios flashing guide, also check out Gigabyte's http://www.gigabyte.com/webpage/20/HowToReflashBIOS.html.

    !! Don't use @BIOS !!

I format and partitioned again the drive with Acronis Disk DIrector 11, changed the cables, and reinstall the windows from a fresh blank.
    Everything is ok now.

    All the best!
