    After my recent good experience on my P55 and knowing a few people running these sticks, I can recommend 100% Mushkin 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 6-8-6-24 Ridgeback - ** 998826 **

You should also be able to find DDR-2000 Mushkin's with the ridgeback heatsink and 7-10-8-27 timings. It depends where you live. Mushkin are easy to source in the US but much harder in Europe and the UK.

when you find the ram slot that its not booting from, test with the other two ram sticks in that same slot, and if it doesnt boot up with any of the sticks in that slot then you have a dead/faulty ram slot or may have a bent or slightly bent cpu socket pin

if it boots with the other two sticks of ram but not the one specific stick in any of the white ram slots then you have a dead/faulty ram module and need to rma the whole ram set for a replacement

I ma seriously going to cry, this is the second board i have had RMA and the second ram white slot WILL NOT start with any of the 3 sticks of ram, im guessing that this is faulty ?
do i have to arrange another RMA?

you need to carefully inspect and take some pictures if you can of the cpu socket pins, try and take some of the whole socket in one shot and no flash, you could have a damaged cpu pin,if not then its something else and probably need to rma the mb

but be carefull not to damage any pins while you check

ONE other thing you can try before you remove the cpu is to clear the cmos by removing the mb battery, some say 10min/30mins or overnight,i would leave it out overnight just to be 100% sure that the cmos is fully cleared then put battery back in and see if it sees the full 6gb

well i dont think its the kingston ram,and buying new ram i think would show the same results,if all was well you ram would have booted into the bios from any white ram slot, tell them that youve updated the bios and that the middle ram slot is dead

i would still check cpu socket and post pics here just incase

If you have another cpu you could try or borrow from a friend I would try that. Like you said this is your 2nd board and the 1st one didnt have any bent pins. It could be a bad cpu. Still while you are swapping cpus look at the socket. The other thing is make sure your heat sink is not over tight.
