    Default ET6 issue

Hello guys, just wanna little advice for my problem here :)
Now my ET6 shows VTT 1.3v max even i set in bios 1.32v ... also when i set auto on MCH then it shows 1.3v max with my current setting 4ghz Q9550, surely its not 1.3v for MCH bcoz when tested with IBT max ram didnt survive for first loop but if i set to 1.36v for MCH it survived 20 loop max ram.... also when i set manually in bios MCH 1.36v then ET6 shows correct value.
Btw this is ET6 looks like :

As u can see def Q9550 is 2.83ghz but it shows 2.66ghz ... i think there is somehow driver ET6 left on my hd because before this (my current system) i use Q9400@2.66ghz + P45 UD3R with the same hd like now .... when i changed myrig to Q9550 and P45UD3R i didnt re-install windows but it normally works, should i re-install OS so ET6 can read correct value??
Btw here SS my stable 4ghz with 3DMark 2006 :)

You need to look here to check set values, by you or Auto

The 2.66 you are seeing is just the stock value of the chip, your actual running speed you can see is 4Ghz in CPU-z, and if you want to see it in easytune you have to look in the "CPU" Tab

What board did you move from to P45? A reinstall is not a have to thing, especially since your install is working, but I would update the chipset driver if you haven't already

It all looks correct to me, you are just looking in the wrong places for what you are wanting to see

the 1.32 vtt issue in ET6 is a bug. if you have 1.32 set in bios ET6 will see 1.30. I found if you are using ET6 to make minor changes for trial and error and are using the 1.32 vtt make sure you set vtt to 1.32 along with the other changes you want to make before hitting apply. It should keep the 1.32v vtt setting even though it reverts back to 1.30v. I would have thought this was fixed by now but I guess it has not.

I mentioned this along time ago but did not forward to gigabyte. I also saw another user on XS forum mention the same problem.

    @ Acebmxer

Can you please show me the link to that also being reported at XS, then I'll forward the bug info with your post here and the XS post and see if we can get that fixed in the next update on easytune.

I'll also test this myself, as I don't think I've ever seen it, then again I have .05 increments with 980X so that may be why as I haven't used 920 for a while and I think my 965 also has .05 increments.

I'll test with 920 though, just so I can verify when sending in my report.

Thx for the help guys :)
well my system didnt quite stable after all, when playing games there was BSOD with error code 0x0000000124 so i increase VTT from 1.32v to 1.34v then for now its stable ^_^ but when i look to ET6 it reads correct value.... so i think 1.32v in ET6 is a bug but not to higher volts .... about MCH setting, Auto still doesnt show correct value in ET6 :( before Q9550+P45UD3P i use Q9400+P45UD3R when i set auto in MCH it shows correct value in ET6 which was 1.4v (i forgot was it oc'ing 3.6ghz or 3.8ghz for Q9400) ... my P45UD3R was bought in early 2010 so bios driver was updated 2010 but this current mobo P45 UD3P still use old bios F9, maybe new bios will correct this ET6 issue but still i'm not sure .... i suspect its ET6 bug on P45UD3P

Ya it is probably justa bug with that one exact value.

I see a similar bug on X58 with setting 1.16V IOH, resets to 1.0V, any other value sets as it should.

Use the latest BIOS for sure!
