    Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes i did the exact settings and didnt work.

    Iv just ordered a Asus P45Q Deluxe. They seem to get great results.

    Well my settings given were just a suggested range, your CPU may have needed more volts or something else may need to be looser, that's why I asked you to post back the exact settings you tried - so I could advise again.

    Good luck with the Asus P45, the BIOS is different so it will take you some getting used to.

    Hi guys
    I followed your advice and I tried to overclock my CPU.
    Q9550 + Gigabyte EP43.
    After entering the parameters whitin the bios,do a control test with CPUZ.
    The test gives me the same result as before overclocking.
    Why?
