Default Strange NIC behavior with X58A UD3R

Really weird behavior with my onboard NIC. I have gone to the Realtek website and have downloaded the latest drivers for my NIC Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

It still doesn't see my connection, it recognizes the NIC, drivers are loaded and indicating that it's working properly, but still says that the cable is not connected. No lights... nothing... is there a possible bios setting I'm missing somewhere?

I then boot into Snow Leopard and the NIC works just fine... sees my connection everything... I don't touch a thing... go back into windows it says the connection is unplugged...

    Any thoughts...

    Thanks,

    Lic

Sounds like the BIOS is fine since you can use it in MAC, just a windows issue it sounds like.

Can you test on a clean install of windows? Do you have the latest Intel INF chipset drivers installed?

If you test on a clean install of windows and it does not work, try clearing your CMOS then starting with optimized defaults and try again.
