    That is exactly what's failing if I understand correctly the F10b is restored after flashing the F8 BIOS

    Ahh ok, then flash F8 BIOS or whatever you want to use, then load optimized, ect and get going/stable.

    .
    Then reboot and hit ALT + F12 and it will flash the MAIN BIOS to the BACKUP BIOS.

    can i exit Qflash without reboothing going back into bios setup then? Because when i reboot after Qflashing i get that error and it restors back to F10b

    No. Did you try it again now?

    Maybe it's the actual BIOS version or file you are trying, try a different version then what you have been trying

    Iv tryed 2 but i will try the very 1st update...

    Is there a way of getting the standard file? the one that was on the board when it came out the store?

    Well be careful, you must check the BIOS version against the CPU list to be sure your CPU is supported by the BIOS you flash.

    No, you can't get that file unless you know which version it was, or backed it up when you first got the board.

    ok tryed 3 different updates. But i get a double boot and the WARNING: CHECKSUM ERROR WITH MAIN BIOS

    and it loads up the F10b again :(

    These arnt the sort of symptons that mean the mobo is screwed but what to yot think lsdmeasap??

    Just to see if the backup is the corrupted BIOS try to flash F10b again (reload the file)and see if it still report checksum error.
    And to eliminate the possibility of memory problem try with the other stick in a different slot.

    with optimized yes and iv tryed one stick... i will try again
