    Default EP45-UD3P + 8GB + E8400 Bios Settings

    If anyone has any imput on my settings I would be glad to hear it. I hope I'm not over-volting any of the settings and I run these because I need to run this set-up for a few years.
    Ram is 4x2 G.Skill 8800PI 1100mhz 1.8-1.9v

    Setting look ok, nothing over volted.
    Set DRAM Termination and channel references to auto.
    I would leave advanced timing other then tRFC on auto.
    Depend on stability, more MCH Core may be needed and/or more vcore.

    Have you performed extended stress testing with Prime95 or OCCT?
    If you regularly use memory intensive applications such as rendering, image/video/music conversion, or VM, have you tested with these applications?

    looks good, 400 cpu ref seems to be np for most people on the board.
    AS long as your happy at that clock and everything is stable.
    If you have tested it at full speed and everything is fine you can turn the cpu throttling back on ,it will speed up whenever its required.
    The other thing is the memory :
    My gigabyte sticks 1.8-1.9 v 800mhz will work at 800mhz at the low end of the voltage range, regardless of cpu clock etc(so they will work quite happily at rated speed in a mbrd that has no dram voltage adjustment at all .
    Your memory is slightly underclocked so you might want to go for say 410 cpu ref and see how that runs for you.
    It wont show a huge difference but might work just fine on the voltages you have now.

    Are you using an aftermarket cooler? if so, no need to stop at 3.6Ghz. You can use my signature as a guide.

    My ram is 1100 but EPP is 1066 @ 1.9 . I did run 3.71 @ 1100 w/ 1.248v
    Ocz Vendetta 2 cooler w/ TR 775 backplate.
    Did not stress totally yet.
    I have a HAF 912 case on the way and am playing with a new Asus EAH HD6850.
    Don't want to go wild yet as my 2.5 year old psu is 520w @ 40a.

    You wouldnt need to change much.

    Drop your memory multiplier down to 1:1 or the 2.0D strap. How ever your bios shows it.

    FSB : 445

    Change your Static tRead Value --------------------- : "9" for both dimms.

    Up your MCH to 1.22v - 1.24v

    and your cpu ( LLC disabled ) anywhere from 1.32v to 1.34v and your good to go.
    Everything else you can pretty much leave as is.
