    Default Video Card otw!

Talon Attack should be in my hands tomorrow! Currently in transit.

Anyone here happen to have this card? Comes stock at 810 core 3900 memory. Just curious what I can crank it up to on stock clocks. From everything I read, this card stays exreemly cool

Now I just need to find some fun DX11 games..

From what I hear, with careful adjustment of GPU VCore and AUX voltage you should hit up to 1GHz and maybe 4200 QDR on the RAM with a bit more juice.

As far as DX11 games go, there are some good ones out there, unfortunately most look almost identical in DX9 mode. Even Metro 2033 doesn't look much better in DX11 with tessilation on. In fact performance is aweful. Much better in DX9, unless you REALLY must have MSAA. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat looks nice in DX11 and performs rather well too. If you like strategy games, Civilization V looks better in DX11 AND performs better too thanks to better texture compression/decompression, terrain tessilation and MSAA.

**Talon Attack is a GF104 based NVidia card (GTX 460). http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-106-MS

Nice! thanks Psycho101 for the heads up.

I was hesitant on upgrading from a 285 to a 460, but seeing how the talon attack model is on par with a ref. 470. I couldn't say no. Specially considering the price.

Ill let you guys know how it is tomorrow after its installed and I run it through some benchmarks :)

Well Resident Evil and FFX benches were pretty much the same as my GTX285. WAY cooler tho : 23C idle 52C full load

So I ran the Heaven Benchmark. This good for my system?
