    @Kriakos..hey grats
    You may be able to play around and get a bit more bandwidth possibly lower latency,but your not that far off the most you can expect out of the chipset now.
    See the suggestions on your main post.
    Some of that depends on your willingness to overclock the cpu a bit or not and over 3ghz may require some voltage increase.Either way you have options to try .

    I for example dont, except the possibility of buying some 1200 memory but Ive been posting about that for 2 years now:) and the performance gain for me would be minimal for my $120 or euro equivalent
    Funnily enough my present memory is allmost as expensive to buy new as ripjaws.

    Maybe I could sell the gskills second hand on Ebay(lifetime guarantee and obviously the sticks have never been overclocked,that was a joke btw) even when I sold my Q8200 i told buyers that it had been clocked.
    Ill look into it.Maybe a last cmas hurrah for my ep45.
    My spare 4G 667mhz mem runs at 800mhz so I wouldnt lose any pc downtime.
    Actually now that Ive thought of it thats what Im gonna do thx folks.well as long as I get reasonable offer.Im not gonna give the sticks away :)

    I have the feeling to , that I got at the top of the mountain about the current bandwidth.
    I am still willing to experiment , playing with the possibilities.
    With out this great Ram that I got , I would not be able to try such many settings ;-)

    Hey Neo , do you have any memory bandwidth and latency measurements using Evererest,sisoft sandra or MaxxMEM.
    I mean specifically on your ripjaw memory at 475-500 cpu ref.Will the memory go above 1200 easily?
    Done any extended testing at 490 cpu ref with memory on the 2.66 multiplier?(1250mhz memory speed).

    Im interested because Im thinking of changing to that memory and want to see if its worth it.

    You mentioned mm67 and his settings somewhere up there.
    You do know he is on watercooling now?.
    Watercooled settings at high overclocks dont relate very well to air cooled ones for comparison.

    Note: guys how do you clean ur registry? is Ccleaner enough and safe? i try a few times Ccleaner to clean my registry but the result when starting windows occasionally stuck at windows loading screen, screen not freeze, it just loading and loading continuous .... sometimes dont but sometimes it happens.

    Thx neo good figures n all.

    Bandwidth is a little higher than mine,could be down purely to your cpu.
    Yeh Maxxmem varies a little each time you run it.

    At present Im back on 490fsb,the gtx 460overclock seems to be holding well on that so should be back on 500 again soon.

    Im more interested in the 475-500 cpu ref area.

    Bandwidth and latency being a combination of cpu speed,fsb speed and memory speed(forget about the timings for a minute)
    My pc performance ,is close enough to yours,but im running 490-500 cpu ref most of the time.
    Then there is the question of the multipliers .
    You were using 2.4B and 2.66D for the above tests .
    The 2.0D and 2.66D are supposed to be the best for hi fsb.
    If I cant break out of the chipset bandwidth limitation a little bit more it may not be worth getting 1200 memory .
    Ha I think I remember posts about this with "Conners" a now ex Q9550 owner over a year ago.

    No worries Im not going to ask you to see what you can do on a x8 cpu multiplier.

    This friend of yours in Indonesia running 1300mhz : What cpu ref is he using?
    If it was 490x2.66D and stable it would be very interesting.

    Windows Registry its an sensitive mater , it does not need cleaning, other than if you test and uninstall lots of software.

    Personally I have stop doing that, I have my favorite software all legal and boxed,
    and I do not install easily fresh software.

    Still I do have an Registry cleaner that does " an lightweight clean " ,and never damaged my system .
    I am using it for more than two years.

    I frequently install/uninstall software so I take a bit more aggressive registry cleaning approach.
    cCleaner is my usual lightweight reg cleaner.
    About once a month I use Glarysoft and Wise registry cleaners to clear out obsolete/empty registry entries.

    note: none of these three reg cleaners "fixes" invalid registry entries, Glary and Wise let you backup your registry before or after cleaning.

    Ok kick i will ask myfriend about ram u asked before, i never use 8x multi bcoz i wanna full speed in my procie ^^ btw "mm67" is using Gskill Trident PC9600 5-5-5-15 1.8v 1200mhz, more power than mine, if i have more money i wanna buy that ram .... but is it worth??
    Kick said : 2.00D and 2.66D are the best ram multi for high FSB? is it true? i remember Lsdmeasap said before about : "2.40B will probably poop out at 459 FSB" i think he's right .... 471 FSB like mine should use 2.00D or 2.66D, correct or in-correct? :)

    Last, i wanna report : last night after many times testing with IBT i got weird result, its like my ram is degrade or myprocie? when i tested last night with same setting 1130mhz 6-6-6-18 1.96v 4Ghz the result was different, speed Gflops downing to 51.xxxx - 52.xxxx (my previous test was 55.5000 average) ... and when i set ram to standard (not turbo) it automatically set Tread value (memory performance in Memset) to 14 and default in bios Tread value is 9 value... before that i think i saw default bios Tread value is 8 for memory performance standard.

    Report : last night i went to The Unordinary Community and go to [ roedzzz ] GSkill F2-9600CL6D-4GBRH...The Amazing Ripjaws series - Page its in thread Review>memory>Gskill ripjaws hehehe and i found the max performance of myram :) wow kick u should read that, theres lot of SS there... this ram can run 1200mhz with tight timing 5-5-5-15 PL6 only with 1.81v!!!! but for myram i only test 1130mhz 5-5-5-15 PL8 vdimm 1.9v ... btw how set PL to 6? i use standard ram performance and then use Advanced Timing Control 3-3-6-52-3 then reboot again and use Tread Value 8 .... it shows lowest Tread value only at 8, how to set 6??? i guess this ram doesnt support mymobo i have seen Gskill ram's details and only support ASUS & DFI ... that review in hyem.org was using DFI which well supported.

    Note:my posting before up there its my mistake again, i guess i used to much voltage then IBT result are instable, now my result with new setting ram are nice and stable, these are few little test :

    btw with vdimm 1.88v can past superpi 32M but not stable in gaming then i raised one step to 1.9v the result is more stable :) my little brother had playing for 5 hours Lost planet 2 and 007 bloodstone with no problem.
