    Since i dont want to overclock at this point, i will start dropping the CPU Vcore and testing stability. No point for the CPU to draw 1.3v since it is on stock speeds. I am hoping this volt drop will decrease the core temps as well. I will try what wazza suggested setting the dvid to -0.1 or setting directly the CPU Vcore to 1.20625v

    I did what wazza suggested i selected Normal for VCore and set the dvid to -0.1v. I ran Prime95 and temps didn't go beyond 63C with the stock cooler, min voltage is 0.752v and max voltage while on Prime95 was 1.17v. Turbo boost kicked in, it lowers on idle so i have all the features i had before with lower voltages resulting to lower temps. Should i leave it this way or change the Vcore directly to 1.20625v / normal with 0.00000 dvid?

    EDIT : The bios shows now VCore : 1.168v / DRAM Voltage : 1.648v (that is the difference 0.5v everyone is talking about right?). The advanced voltage control is like this :

    Load Line Calibration -> Auto
    Cpu Vcore -> 1.30625v Normal
    DVID - > +0.00000v -0.100000v
    QPI/VTT Voltage 1.100v Auto

    Am i good with this settings?

    yes use -0.10000v in dvid,that way it will run cooler at load than directly setting it to 1.20625 and it will throttle down when idle

    aslong as its stable then its fine

    Thanks so much for the help wazza, i will leave it that way. About QPI/VTT Voltage 1.100v Auto am i ok? Should i put Normal there too?

    it should be fine on 1.1v or auto,if you have any blue screens or random restarts maybe set it to 1.2000v but if its stable then it will be ok with less

    And To be safer you may set it so it won't drop below 1.2v

    It will drop below 1.2v when on idle. The point was to limit the voltage when going up.
    Now it is running 0.75v while i am browsing the web. You mean that is not safe?

    it should be fine at stock clocks it will use less when cpu is throttled at idle,heres what my cpu uses when throttled but full speed it runs at 4.2ghz

    if its unstable at idle clocks and 0.75v then you need to go back in dvid and try -0.0900v as using less amount will let the cpu use slightly more voltage at load and at idle clocks

    at 4.2ghz i use 0.976v idle and at full load it uses 1.262500 (1.23000v) taking vdroop into account

    Well i am on 0.75v since this morning the PC is on still then and i haven't noticed anything unstable. I will keep it the way it is until further notice. There is not much difference though, before i started editing the bios voltages it idled at 0.8 so that shouldnt be an issue.

    the .5v rule you mentioned means that the qpi/vtt voltage has to be within .5v of the dram voltage as not to damage the integrated memory controller inside the cpu,your at .56 outside it so you can go to qpi/vtt voltage and manually set it to 1.1700v or 1.1800v then you will be within .5v of your dram voltage,or try 1.1625v that would be enough
