    Default X58A-UD3R dead?

I posted a few months ago about my NB on my X58A-UD3R being extreamly hot, that porblem went away. All together before that incident the machine worked flawless for about 1-2 months , after the NB incident the machine kept behaving oddly.

After getting the machine going again I got random hookups, beeing stable for 50min f.ex. and windows hangs when pressing the start button and souch.
No specific task done for the machine to hang in windows 7.

I gave up and carried on renovating my appartment instead putting the computer problems aside for a while, now 3 weeks later i gave it a try again. Managed to enter BIOS a few times tough all atempts resulted in 5-10 seconds working BIOS until it freezes.
Removed all memories, 3x2GB corsair xms3 , tried them one and one in the first white slot, nothing working better than the other. Unplugged just about everything except the keyboard, the machine boots flawlessly with 1 memorystick and keyboard. So I tested running photoshop and a game just to test the stability, solid as a rock, machine worked fine for about 3 hours.
However time ran away so I shut down the computer to get some sleep and when getting back from work the next day I pressed the power button, machine starts, monitors wont get any signal, no beeping sounds. Can't see the BIOS splash screen or nothing.
Tried reseting , nothing, removing battery, nothing, switched memories, nothing.

Could it be a corrupt BIOS perhaps ?

    The machine:
    Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
    Intel i930
    3x2 Corsair XMS3 1.5V
    Gigabyte GeForce 480 GTX
    WD Raptor 150GB System disk
2x Intel 80GB SSD Mirror , Program disk
    Corsair HX 750W 80+
All watercooled except for NB / mosfets that is.

No, brand new, would have to order another one if I were to try another one since nothing but utter crap is to be found in the local stores.

could be psu or memory related,if you could get into the bios without it freezing you could add more qpi/vtt voltage,

have you tried fully clearing the cmos? by removing mb battery for 30 minutes just to be sure

There was just someone here this week with that exact PSU and it turned out the +3V rail was funky and they had to replace it.

If you need me to find the thread I can, so you can compare thoughts or ask that user if he thinks you have the same issue.

Actually, I'll find it now so you can.

    *Edit*

Here, sounds like it might be a similar issue?

I have never owned a Corsair PSU but I have had 2 "Name brand" PSU's go bad in the last couple of years. Your symptoms would make me think your issue lies there. I would try to confirm or rule out that possibility before you attempt to RMA your board. If you can't readily get a PSU to try do you have access to another computer to try the Corsair in, one of your own or a friends?
