Default Which Gigabyte apps should I install?

Gigabyte seems to have a common set of applications to utilize the features of the boards. It would be nice if there was a sticky (Is there? Didn't see it.) post which listed the applications with a little description, a recommendation to install it or not, and the best way to utilize it if so.

I have a GA-P55-USB3 board. Which Gigabyte applications are worth installing?

    Thank you!

Thanks. I took that as a comprehensive list and not a recommendations list. For example, I see @bios is on the list but I have seen numerous recommendations against it. Maybe the list could have gold stars next to truly useful utils.

    Its just a updated list...

It all depends on what you are looking for. Each utility does it own thing.

One recommendation is Easy Tune 6. This will show you what voltage settings you have set in bios or what auto is setting by the bios. It also lets you overclock in windows but it is not suggested.

Not only is @bios not recommended but that goes for any windows based flashing utility.

I agree, easytune is really all you need from the motherboard CD, anything else you don't need but may want such as Dynamic Energy Saver but they are only if you want them.

Use easytune to monitor or test things, then set any tested settings in the BIOS.

If you want to disable Easytune from startup you can right click the tray icon and uncheck run at startup, then use this to uncheck the easytune GUI and or easytuneVI/ETCall

Installs into control panel, control panel 32bit if using x64, you want the first link
