    ok..

    vcore 1.312 (down one notch)
    llc -> Level1

    occt 10min ok...

i think i will stay like this, and test it for 1-2 hours..

    What do you say?

do i have to do anything with the other voltages? pll, pci etc?

Any other general suggestions? (if this works stable)

all other voltages are safe on auto, could try and get dvid stable? up to you really and whether you want cpu and voltage to downclock at idle and full speed/voltages at load

its better that way, because if you used balanced it will throttle cpu at idle, basically it will do the same job as c1e in the bios but i find the windows way is better than using c1e in the bios, you can switch to high performance profile and then the cpu will stay at full speed,it saves having to go in the bios and enable/disable c1e

Performance enhance i think i have it to Turbo thogugh...This is the turbo your signature is reffering to?

intel turbo boost, but your cpu has a higher multi 24x i think? mines 21x so if you enabled it now it would use 191x24 bclk, you can either stick with 21x191 or use 24x and lower bclk to suit, remember to adjust the memory and uncore freq multipliers when you change bclk or cpu multi as it will affect it,to work out any uncore freq its 2x ram multiplier or +1 +2 so 8x ram multi will be 16x uncore or 17x or 18x,whatever's more stable

and dvid adjustment is only unlocked when you set either auto or normal cpu voltage,if its a fixed amount its locked out,and the cpu only throttles down on auto or normal cpu voltage setting, eist and balanced(windows 7) or minimum hardware(xp) has to be enabled also or eist and c1e

i will stick to 21x191 cause i am having faster ram with it and within specs....

    i will disable turbo then..

whats the difference between auto and standard for vcore? i mean std should be 1.15.....1.15 +0168 gets bsod..i am testing now 30min for 1.15 + 0.17500...which is 1.33....

without dynamic i was ablle to be stable for 30 min with fixed 1.32500 and i was monitoring the test and it was 1.28...

now i am getting bsod with 1.15+0.167 with 1.29-1.30v ....

    why is that?

    in all cases level1 llc

Also, after finishing my last reply..i got a stop in the app saying that CPU is TOO HOT....

i checked the charts and i saw that 2 cores went around 81-82 and occt stopped the bench....I also have an upper limit to myself being 80 celcius..

So i switched back to locked vcore of 1.31 and llc level1 and testing again 30min....it shows 1.28v in cpuz and occt as before...

if that succeeds i will test for 2 hours to see what is happening...But i would love to find out how to go to the flexible mode for vcore but 1.33 seems too much for vcore even dynamic one...

could be because llc is enabled, and depends on what the cpu needs to remain stable, each cpu uses more or less voltages just depends on what chip and batch you get,yh 80c is the upmost limit really for temps try with normal and the extra voltage in dvid add both the voltages to give you the same as what you set in the fixed cpu voltage but try without llc enabled, again keep an eye on temps if unstable you can afford to go a few clicks higher as vdroop will play its part, for me total voltage inc dvid is 1.2625v but with vdroop at 100%cpu load(see cpu-z id tag in sig)the voltage drops to 1.232v but im still stable at that so if you need to use more voltage use it as vdroop will lower it slightly under load and reduce load temps too

for your cpu always start with +0.xxxxx amount in dvid not +1.xxxxx

I have read the llc explained thread and i got it 100%...

One question in order not to search in wrong places..

if i change from 21x191 to 23x174 will i have more space for temperature management..or i will be more or less the same..?

I mean i understand that vcore will remain the same because freq is the same..but i may drop qpi/vtt.

Dram voltage i may not drop as i will choose to tighten the timings going to 6-7-6-18 maybe...

So is it worth it to search the 23x174 or higher mult is for the case that i wouldnt be able to go higher on bclk?

If not then i will remain at 21x191 and aim for the dynamic vid as you suggest

..in a few hours i'll have feedback :)
