I also have that high pitched noise when I run some programs, don't mind it.

Hi, well I have similiar problem. When playing with fan speeds Inoticed little crackling, maybe sparkling sound is comming from computer.I thought this is HDD, but when I took it out and leave only SSD sound remainder. Its not continuous, is appears every ten seconds to few minutes. And it is difenatelly graphic card, becouse when I took it out, it stoppped. The card is Gigabyte HD 6850 OC.

Also I donīt think if coused by fan, I canīt say for sure, but I think its not. Like I said, it sound like very decent sparkling. If my computer wasnt running so quiet I would not even noticed it. Do you guys think this could be described as normal no-function or performance threatening? To rule out some electrical sparks I stare at it few minutes in complete dark....
