I know that may sound really idiot, but since I'm really new to this online market world, how am I supposed to package the RAM? Do I need to put the three sticks in a box and ship out the box or just a letter would be enough? Then I guess I would need to head to the nearest shipping center?...

Ya you would need to send in the whole kit since you are not sure if it's just one stick or not.

Have you already emailed them for a RMA number?

Yes, I e-mailed them yesterday but they did not reply yet. Just an update, this morning the computer cold booted, but it detected 6Gb. I think that's because I upgraded the BIOS version to FJ13, I'm not too sure. But even if it detected 6Gb, it didn't want to boot into Windows: it would just show the logo, get stuck, and get back to the POST, then get to the logo, get stuck,... you get the idea. When I restarted everything (electrically) it booted in Windows correctly... and Windows saved a minidump file from the BSOD. So I downloaded Windbg, what am I supposed to see?

try loading optimized defaults, best done after flashing the bios then set the dram voltage according to the ram, either 1.5v or 1.66v,then try with 1.35000v

set the ram speed manually to 1600mhz

Maybe this is allocated memory on a nonexistent dimm?

i dont know what that code is,i think 50 error is memory error, its saying vista driver error aswell but that could be due to memory problem? and the memory problem could be a bios setting not right or voltage or mb bios not fully supporting it properly

did you try with the voltages and loading optimized defaults? if it still does it i would request an rma ticket from g-skill and return for another set or try another brand or ram,if its still doing it with different brnds/models of ram then it can only be a mb fault?

This means the BIOS thinks there is 6gb but actually there is only 4gb that is working. That is why it didn't work, Windows was trying to allocate memory for one of his drivers on nonexistent memory.

    ---------

To answer your question, when I flash the BIOS, I always use optimized defaults before AND after flash. It doesn't change anything actually. I don't think it's a voltage problem, I could try upping the CPU Vcore (It's one of those things I never tried) to 1.30V

EDIT: It's definitely a RAM problem.

You may want to take a look at this, those people have the same model of RAM as me, and they are getting the same problem

i would try another brand first just to be 100% sure,if no problems you know that the current crop of bios's has issues with that ram,if its still giving you reboots/freezes ect then you know its a mb problem,i doubt if its the cpu, they rarely go wrong

EDIT: both mb and ram should work out of the box, without tweaking anything esp at stock,if not then somethings wrong

Then I just need to find somebody with spare DDR3 dimms.

EDIT: Yes, the RAM is defective in some way. Even out of the box. Maybe a bad batch
