    Question BIOS Settings

    Here goes,

    I am not keen on OC just yet, I dont know what I am doing and dont have money to buy new board and parts just yet.

    Current setup is GA-EP45-UD3P r1.6 with Ffb BIOS. Processor is Q9550, Memory is F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI. I am also running ATI Crossfire with 2 HD 5770 1GB
    I am looking for best settings to get the board the fastest and most stable.

    Here is my current BIOS settings Note the memory should be 1200 not 1066

    About your PM, is it reaching that temp at idle with stock settings?

    If so you need to remove your heatsink and reapply new thermal paste and be sure it is fully seated/installed because if those are the temps at idle or even load with stock settings there is a problem and the heatsink is probably not installed fully.

    I'll post you some optimal settings in the next post, once sec.

    I had followed someone elses post about running the cpu at 375 and that is where I had the alarming temperature rise. I quickly reverted.

    That's odd, now I search and your model name from above returns the expected results! Maybe google was broke a minute ago?

    *Edit* 3.75 is still not very much, what cooler are you using?

    Can I get a clarification on the settings with the hyphen in them? Do I really set

    OK Here goes. I am very unstable and defaulted almost everything. My current BIOS is FD. I have no overclocking and my Raid controller has become unstable and I am getting BSOD random times.
