    Default GA-x58-ud5 no post issue

    Hi guys,

Just purchased all the components for a new machine and am running into issues.

Proccessor is i7-950, and i cannot even reach post.

The debug LED says nothing, all crystals are lit up.

gb1-2 and md1-2 phase LEDs are lit up.

cpu LEDs near the power switch button are lit up.

    Any ideas?

    Is this EX58 or X58A?

If it's EX58 then you may need an older 920 CPU to flash the BIOS, 950 CPU is not supported until BIOS F7.

If it's X58A, sorry have to ask, do you have both the 24 pin and 8 pin ATX/EPS 12V CPU Power cables connected?

Memory in the white slots only if using 3 sticks or less?
