So if I get that OCZ memory, it will run better or faster?

The fan is inside the plastic, so I thought it all had to be left on?

Oh ok i wasn't sure if it's just a cover. Did you get extra fan clips too?
What memory model you have now? What it's CAS latency?

Kingston HyperX T1 is a line of memory with different frequencies and latencies.
I only see one 1600 6GB kit, so this must be what you havem CAS 9.
So the OCZ is better (CAS 8) in this aspect, at least on paper.
I believe you shuld be able to find CAS 7 or even 6 modules at the same price level.

Not bad just don't fit. 3 modules are made for tripple channel X58 boards, and the high heat spreader.
CAS 9 for DDR-1800 is about the same as 8 for DDR-1600.
I don't know the AMD board, how much you need to OC to reach DDR-1800 if possible at all.
Low latency 1600 modules should be sufficient I think.

Will I be hurting my system running these? Would I run faster with the other, that he put the link on?

In no way they are harmful to your system.
Would the others run better or worse is hard to tell.
Can you post a screen capture of CPU-Z Memory tab?
Try MaxxMEM² - PreView for memory benchmarking.
