Thanks for posting back your findings!

I did notice somehow between various versions that things were different, at times I could see 1-2 things to disable in StartupPCL, other times only one or none.

Nice to see you found why this is, and thanks for posting back for others. I'm sure they will change it again sometime :)

It's VERY ODD that RunOnce does not invoke a UAC prompt, this is how many viruses install startup programs, so I can't see how UAC is going to help without prompting for these kind of things!

Yeap, I just couldnt give up on why this wasnt consistent and started doing my normal digging around (like what my job normally requires me to do, troubleshoot the hell out of something).

But im glad that knowing that just throwing it in RunOnce fixes the UAC prompt. Anytime i update it (like this last one which flipped it back to Run section) I will just make sure I move the key back to RunOnce, if its not there already.

I really do like the ET6, its a useful tool to change stuff on the fly while testing overclock, i like how it also has a CPUZ like summary, so it gives alot of info all in one tool.

That may by why they changed it, but not sure why they keep changing it around when it works one way they should leave it :)

I agree, it's a great tool for testing various things and or checking applied voltages.

Thanks again for posting your findings Dixit!

I had to lookup your thread tonight because I couldn't get it to stop loading at startup anymore either, then I remembered your registry findings!

So thanks! They need to fix this, or put it back to how it originally was working fine and stop playing with it's startup functions!

    *Edit*

Actually, couldn't find it at all to stop it from startup!!!

    Back on the hunt...
