It looks like something is very wrong with your setup. Your cpu has almost three times as much L2 cache (which improves performance) as Chikes cpu and you have four times the amount of memory that he has in his system. You have a quad core cpu compared to his dual core cpu and your scores are significantly lower. This tells me that your current bios settings with your mixed memory brands are really hurting your system's performance.

In post #5 I asked you to provide detailed information about your system and to provide an accurate bios template. Right now I can only guess at what actual settings you're using. I'd feel much more confident if you were only using 4GB of memory that would show that your setup is performing correctly.

Click on the the last line in my forum signature to better understand the importance of performing extended stability testing. If you cut corners with stability testing you're greatly increasing the possibility of data corruption and other problems.

Memtest86+ is an excellent tool that will help determine if your memory is faulty. It will also help find some gross bios configuration errors. In no way is it a heavy duty stress testing application. Once I know that my hardware doesn't have problems, I usually run a very short Memtest86+ series of tests before I boot into windows to do extended stability testing with Prime95 and/or OCCT.

You maybe right on different kits not getting along with each other. And that was my main concern. But my current setup passed memtest86+ (over 6 hours) and prime95 (8 hours)tests without errors :-| I'll post my current BIOS settings in a few minutes.

Looks as if there's improvemen in writes, read still the same.
It would be a good idea to test each set for itself, the new ram with 2.2-2.3v.
It's not the first time I've seen results that are much lower than I expected. Maybe it's the board/bios or just compatibility issue with one of the kits.

That's why I died for buying the same kits at first place :) But couldn't find them anywhere. And what I fear happened. At least both kits seems to be stable right now. Or we can try oc w/o cpu? Paying for performance and not getting even close to it sucks as u may guess :)

    Your settings look good.
Make sure that MCH Clock Skew (ps) is set to zero.

I suggest several quick MaxxMem2 tests using:

    1) only 4GB of Mushkin memory installed with Dram Voltage = 2.02 volts

    2) only 4GB of HyperX memory installed with Dram Voltage = 2.20 volts

Leave MCH Core = 1.26 for both of the above tests.
Don't do Memtest86+ or Prime95 tests for now.

    3) With 8GB of memory installed:
    set MCH Core = 1.28
    set Dram Voltage = 2.14 or 2.16

If you're running win7, run the WEI score for each test to see what the MEMORY score is.
Use your computer for a short while to see if you notice any performance differences.

Overclocking and bios tweaking takes time, be patient.

Thanks. I'll try those tests in the evening. (removal of the graphics card is necessary when removing the rams, this makes things a bit hard) But applying a 2.14-16 V to mushkins isn't too much? (Guys at mushkin forums once told me not pass 2.1V limit when I first build my current rig.)

Don't worry about the temporary higher dram voltage for the Mushkins for your short 8GB memory test.
Generally the 996599 Mushkins work best near the 2.00 volt setting. I've been running my Mushkins at 2.02 volts for several years with 4-4-4-10 timings below 875MHz and from 980 - 1100MHz with 5-5-x-12 or 15 timings.
