    My conclusion.

With my ram kit, I was able to pass Memtest and any stress test in the Windows environment--as long as I did not cold boot.

I could not always cold boot into a stable system. And lately, I could not cold boot at all into a stable system.

I finally tore my system apart and tested the RAM with Memtest under cold boot condition. That is how I discovered that one of the sticks cannot pass Memtest under cold boot. It brought clarity to months of frustration and I feel like an idiot for not having tested it out earlier under cold boot condition. But I was under the assumption that if they can pass Memtest at all, then that the sticks are fine. I assumed that something else must be the problem. This is not necessarily the case.

If you have cold boot issues, test your RAM under cold boot conditions!

It's the only way to rule out RAM as the problem.

Nice to see you were able to narrow it down to one stick!

I wish you a quick RMA!
