    The settings in "P45_P43 W-comments.txt" are all auto except CPU Host Clock PCI Clock Performance Enhance standard, and XMP Disabled.
    BTW What BIOS installed on the new board?
    It should be OK t use the same settings as before with the addition of manually settings CPU PLL to default or one click above.
    You may want to try lower MCH Core 1.16-1.2v, and enable LLC(Load Line Calibration) and try to lower vcore.

    If there are memory/bus related problems try MCH Core first, then VTT.
    If you need high VTT we'll will try to tweak MCH/CPU references instead.
    Only increase vcore to the point you get same IBT/LinX GFlops, then one click above.
    CPU/MCH Clocks Skew may help although usually not needed at 400MHz FSB.

    Good luck.

    EDIT: The BIOS version should be FA/B/C etc. You can see it at post time, or the Motherboaed tab of CPU-Z.

    Well the recommendations held. 3GHz and holding! You are the KING :thumbs up:
    I am posting a screen shot of the end of the max heat Prime test (tale end of 4 hr' run) then 5 IBTs then 10 IBTs 38GFLops.
    Remember, we have been seeing high reported temps all along but the MB does not see these temps. It sees substantially lower numbers. I have not "calibrated" the sensors, yet.
    What should we try next?

    So now it is stable with stoc volts, but temps still very high, even if we go by the lower temps.
    Try to follow RealTemp calibration instructions and see what you get.
    With temps that high I wouldn't go any further, though they seem very odd.

    Chike,
    I have run Real Temp and I will post it at the end of this message.
    I installed a thermometer in the plenum that supplies the air to the Noctua and to the #3 Drive cage. The exhaust air from the Corsair 1200W also feeds this plenum.

    The #3 Drive cage intake is directly across from the outside air intake.
    The Noctua is pulling air out of the plenum and is across from the Corsair's exhaust into the plenum . I plan on testing dividing up the plenum so the Corsair exhausts into the #3 Drive cage and the Noctua gets only outside air. But temps are low enough in the plenum I do not know if it will make much of a difference, but I plan on trying.

    Drive cage #1 is at the same level in the case as the Noctua and it also picks up the air from it and Drive cage #3's exhaust. It exhausts out the front.

    Drive cage #2 is the lowest in the case and picks up any spill from the Noctua and the rest of the components. It exhausts out the front.

    At idle the Whole computer is drawing 166 Watts. Not much heat there.
    I will continue to profile the heat in the case.

    So.... Here are the temps in the computer. The Drive cage temps are taken between the middle drives (2&3) of each cage, Raptor drives get hot.
    Plenum---------29c
    Drive cage #3---34c
    Drive cage #1---42c
    Drive Cage #2---37c
    All these temps are at idle. I plan to check them when I close the case fully and run IBT. At the moment the case is covered on the back half of the case.
    I can believe the MIN temp on processor #1 of 39c and its idle temp of 43c but the rest of them I suspect. As soon as they come in I plan on putting a sensor on the Noctua. Do you think that putting on one of the middle heat pipes at the base of the block would be better than on the sink itself?

    There's no point measuring CPU temperature any other as instructed by Intel (at the center of the CPU heatsink)

    Note that the numbers in the test are distance from TJmax, and those are not going to change.
    These sensors are known to be inaccurate, but they are more acurate at high temps than at low tems (Intel says that any temperature below 50c should be considered as "less than 50c" as it may be -10 to +5c off).

    Chike,
    I'll be darned, putting in the diverter partition lowered the CPU's temp by ~5c !!! Running max heat Prime the power usage went up to 230W so the processor is using ~64Watts @ 100% over idle. I will try IBT tomorrow.

    With the divider in place and an intake temp of 22C here is a 2hr run of prime going into a 10x run of IBT.
    BTW: I notice that Real Temp and Core Temp do not agree as to which core is which except for core#0. Notice they agree as to temp but for different cores. Interesting. ;-)
