    Chike,
I had that thought myself so I will test it by itself. Also thinking that I may try putting a "good" stick of Kingston in and see if I get faults. Would not that, a failure with 4 sticks, indicate the MCH is getting into the problem I think that I will take the temp probes that I have currently in the drive bays and put them on the MCH and the other little heat sink to watch them for these tests. MemTest has been running a full set of tests on the "good three" with no fault. Going to let it run until tomorrow mourning some 16 hrs. Then try Single and w/Kingston.
The information on Calibrating is quite interesting. May have to try it down the road.
    Thank you, going to bed,
    BD

    Chike,
Very strange and unsetteling. The stick that caused rapid errors when in with the other 3 is now running happily all by itself. I had it run all tests for 45min and test #6 for20 min so far with no errors. Could it be that the MCH can not handle 4 sticks? I was thinking that I could take the temp probes from my AerocoolEasy watch and put it on the MCH and the other little heat sink and monitor them. BTW I have found that the nominal temp for the DRAM is ~40c (being tested w/MemTest.) What to do?
    BD
P.S. Looks like people like the tRead of 6 for boot speed up. Any cautions for them?

Could be the slot it was installed in? Try to test it there. Or the MCH, what MCH Core you had when tested all 4?

tRD id related to FSB memory clock timings(CAS) and some other(advanced) memory settings. it als vary for different chipsets and BIOS versions.
    I can run 333MHz FSB DDR-1066 CL 5 with tRD 6, currently running FSB 448 DDR-1076 with tRD 8.

    Chike,
Dissregard previous post. Remove it if you can(and this one) I am checking what my BIOS settings are and there are errors in that post. Will repost ASAP.

DDR-1197 and it boots? No multiple boos? Check with CPU-Z and MemSet that CPU and memory are running at expected frequency.
Can you post screen capture of MemSet SPD window for one of the Crucial modules?

    Ckike,
Here it is. I have not tested stability of computer but it just booted up! System info knows that there is 8 Gigs outthere but thinks it is running @2.5 GHx.

yes it's only running with 333MHz FSB, use 2.66D SMM.
After saving BIOS changes go back to BIOS MIT to make sure the BIOS use those settings, if it is not you will get a red oc failure warning.
I need the SPD window too(click the spd).
Alt+PrintScreen wil capture the active window only, set imagesize to small dimentions before pasting or to fit the image fter pasting it (Image/attributes in Paint).

    Chike,
I made your suggested corrections to 2.66D and Memory Frequency is now 997MHz. See attached. Any ideas about why I can not run 4 sticks of mem and pass MemTest 4.2?
