    Default I7 930 - BCLK from 133 to 166. What else i have to do ?

    Hi guys.
    I have this PC configuration:
    - CPU: Intel Core i7 930 2.80 GHz / D0 - link
    - CPU Cooler: Corsair CWCH70
    - Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 ( rev. 2.0 ) BIOS version FB
    - PSU: Corsair CMPSU-750TXEU
    - VGA: MSI GeForce GT240 1GB DDR5 128-bit HDMI ( soon will be an GTX 580 )
    - Memory: Corsair 6GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 XMS3 Triple Channel Kit - link 1 & link 2
    - SSD: OCZ 120GB SATA-II Vertex 2
    - HDD: 2xF4 320 GB RAID 0
    - TV Tuner: Leadtek TV2000 XP
    - Optical drive: 1 x DVD-Writer Samsung SH-S223L/RSMS Retail
    - Case: Thermaltake Spedo Advance
    - OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Now everything in BIOS is set to AUTO / DEFAULT.
I only changed RAM Multiplier from 8 to 10 ( to work at 1333 MHz ) and now the RAM Voltage changed from 1.52 to 1.584.
I asked on CORSAIR forum and they said that is no problem.
    And also I manually set the memory timings at 9 / 9 / 9 / 24 with TR at 2 - link.
Using MemTest86+ v4.10 I tested my Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 for 7:48 hours and i've got no errors - link.

    What I want to do:
    1. Go to BIOS and change the BCLK from 133 to 166
    2. Let the Turbo MODE Enabled and the CPU will work at 3486 ( x21 ) and at 3652 ( x22 )
    3. Put the RAM Multiplier to 8 and my RAM will work at 1328 MHz ( 166*8 )
    4. from here i don't know what to do next ...

Please help me with all the settings that i have to do.
I want CPU to work as now - when is necessary the CPU multiplier is rising at 22 and when I do nothing decreases at 15.

    CPU in REAL Temp now:
    - Idle: 35 / 32 / 35 / 30
    - Full Load: 58 / 56 / 57 / 52

Thank you very much for your help !

Try setting cpu voltage to normal in voltage list, set uncore freq to 17x,and set qpi/vtt voltage to 1.32v,set your ram command rate to 1t,it will be better

    wazza300 thx for your help.

    Few more questions:
    1. So, I have to change CPU voltage from AUTO to Normal ?
    2. Do I have to change smth to Load Line Calibration or should i leave it to AUTO ?
    3. qpi/vtt voltage is now set on AUTO ( 1.175 v ). There is no problem if i raise it to 1.32 v ?
    And i don't have in BIOS for qpi/vtt 1.32 ... i have 1.315 and 1.335 .

    Here are pictures from BIOS:

    2 - link
    3 - link
    4 - link
5 - link with mobo voltage controls
    Thx.

You won't need llc, leave on auto, yes cpu on normal, and try 1.315v for qpi/vtt voltage, set ram command rate to 1t aswell

This is quite old but i have to point out that LLC on Auto means enabled (at least for my ga-p55-usb3), so if you do not want this feature select Disabled. As a matter of fact i suggest all people use specific settings rather than AUTO so you can have full control of the board.
