I dont believe so cause i went with the suggested setting given a couple of posts back...
    For 3.6ghz try 160x22 bclk,10x mem multi/1600mhz,cpu voltage on normal,qpi/vtt 1.3v,and set uncore freq to 21x
I'll change it and run some more Tests,Thanks for pointing that out........

I ask because I i7-930 should not boot with uncore less then 2x memory multi... I7-970-980-990 are the only ones that can boot at 1.5x memory multi.

Ok my mistake The Memory Multi was set at 10 NOT 12 so that means the Uncore should have been anywhere between 20-24..............

#1 Nice systems. #2 I like your country and coming back next year. I have your old set up and I didn't overclock memory on my set up, saw no performance gain, but maybe that was just my memory. I would try push pull on the Prolimatech to see if you can get some head room to overclock. I have not had a chance to play with the 930's tho. Good luck on your quest.

Correct... Find a the sweet spot some cpu's like uncore 2x memory some like 2x+1 some like higher you can go has high as you want just will require more qpit/vtt voltage

Ok guys back at it again I'm thinking of just bumping it up a notch to 3.8Ghz @1600 Mhz cause i came across some settings from a UDR3 user but i have not had any luck thus far
I can get into windows '' most '' of the time but on running Prime i get blue screen, so feel free to chip in as to where i should begin to make changes........
I should also point out that due to this system being for Music Production it has been debated that Turning Off Turbo,C1, EIST etc is recommended so i'll like to try with and without those options........

Here is the Settings that i tried

well if your are ready to turn off the power saving features try these. But honestly nothing beats slow OC'ing, to see how your set up reacts to different settings. I here some of the 930's were good, some where junk tho. I use LLC, I think it helps a lot, and it's not like using it on the 775 socket. Here are some setting to try. Speaking of music production, my brother-in law does music production in T&T.

What was the BSOD error code... See link in my sig for list.

Keep all power saving on if you can why turn it off if you dont have to...

Turn llc on level 1 that will help and you may need to increase vcore a little more and or qpi/vtt. depending what the bsod error was...

I tried to Enable C1 & C6/C7 but it would not boot either, it jus froze as the Windows bar came up, so those 2 together with Turbo is Disabled...........
