Just tried 200x21 with ram at 2000 MHz 8-8-8-24 or 20 (dont remember) 1.76 vdimm and stopped pushing qpi/vtt voltage at 1.615v the system would not post would only give what sounded like about 100 beeps in 2 sec then shut off. set 9-9-9-24 qpi/vtt 1.435 system booted.

Sorry Ace, those are BBSE not Hyper, so you will need to use tRCD one above CAS.

So maybe 8-9-8 at 2000, or you could also try 7-9-7/8, they will do both 898 & 797 @ 2000Mhz

Hey Vinster, nice to see! Is that 411Overkill forum?

I think we might have won if it wasn't for some cheating, and one of our scores being pulled due to key sharing which was approved by Raymo from the get go until someone seen they were loosing :(

thx for the link after reading throw thats sound about right for what this memory will do... I will try later with a lower bclk and higher memory multi but yes using 7-8-7-20 or 8-8-8-20 works.

yep, www.411overkill.com • Portal... we are a very small group. as for cheating, there are too many ways to cheat on a competition like that. no photo proof that you are running the cooling that you have set as your handicap. I noticed a few guys that were runngin "Air" but their clocks and voltage were just a little too high to make sense.

I was brought down to Air because we needed to fill a slot in class E, but nothing would have prevented me from keeping my H70 installed and just say I was runninng air. I didn't do that, I re-installed my CoolerMaster Hyper 212 and took photo's of the benching sessions just in case a debate of that nature came up.

and I found it funny once I was looking at the final results page and saw your Nick, I had a good laugh thinking of the help you gave me here while I was benching for the warz. trying for my 4.5-4.6Ghz OC.

One thing that upset me was wPrime, I got a "glitched" run and got a score of 3.03 seconds... WR Run... as per the Bot... and I didn't get an error, but thoughout that warz benching sessions I had seen 20-30 errors.. but not that time... I brought it up with my team-mates and they all told me to forget it happenned, I brought it up with HwBot and they didn't have a comment. Frustrating that one.

How many close to the norm but glitched runs must be out there and registered as "Good" I don't consider it as a valid bench personally anymore. not after that.

No worries about the hi-jack, at least not from me, I'm sure Ace wont mind either - we'll both keep overclockin

Right, that was my thought from the get go! I mean anyone could run water and say air, even if the provided a picture which would be pointless. Same for phase/water, we needed some bench that included temps. Also, the overclock bonus score could be super manipulated, as anyone could easily bench for Pi, then jack up the overclock and take a screenshot (Happened!)

Haha, I was helping you go against me and didn't even know it? Good thing I was busy a lot of that time, I wasn't in the forums too much then, otherwise I might have helped you get higher than you did

Nice to hear you were honest with your glitched result, many others probably wouldn't have been so honest. As you suspect there is probably many out there, I know there is plenty with MaxMemm on the bot.

Due to the cheating that took place we all decided that we aren't playing next year at all.

can you send me a PM about that, other than the class issue, I'm not aware of other instances. if there are, I'd like to bring it up with my team-members but not in public.

and I'll post up a few OC'd pics later today.. I'm working on my back-yard water cooling setup.

    Vin

EDIT: a few teasers... these are from the initial testing... I've made some changes since and am in the process of refining them further. initial testing last night I was able to get the temps down to about 10 degrees. and I'm working on getting them better
