Default BSOD when set memorry speed anything other than 1066 for x58a-ud3r-Help

I get a BSOD when set memory speed other than 1066. Can someone help me to tweak the MB. Here is my HW specs

MB: x58a-ud3r rev 2 bio FF
    CPU: I7 965 extreme edition
    RAM: 6GB (3x2GB) triple channel cors tr3x6g1600 with 9-9-9-24 and 1.65V
    CPU Heat Sink: Corsair H70
Power Supply: ThermalTake 750W Toughpower xt series
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I did a lot o research and tried a few combination but it won't work. I just want to get the ram to run at 1600. I purchased 2 6Gb kits. The MB won't recognized when installed 12 GB at 1066-only recognized 4GB. Right now I only installed 6GB at 1066 and the system is stable at that. Thanks.

12gb is always hard to set up,set qpi/vtt voltage to 1.36v then see if all 12gb show up in bios

I only have 6GB installed right now. Let me try to set the QPI/VTT voltage to the value that you suggested and get back to you. By the way, I read your suggestions to the other fellas and try to use your template on the 1440 Mhz for the Ram and my machine didn't boot up pass the BIOS. I would think that each CPU is different. Thus, your suggestion for for the I 920. Thank for helping.

It did not work. I set the QPI/VTT to 1.355 because I can only chose between 1.355 and 1.375. Thus, the board didn't even boot into BIO. My memory muliplier is set at 12 for 1600 while the BCLK is at 133 and my CPU mulitplier is at 24. It didn't work so I load the default again. What is the next step? Thanks.

make sure you are setting uncore to 24x if you using 12x memory multi... Make sure ram voltage vdimm is set to 1.66v the first choice you have higher for 1.65v. try setting qpi/vtt to higher keep raising it untill the system will bot may need up to 1.435 or more.

set qpi speed to 36x. manually set uncore to 20x or 21x and use 10x memory with 133 bclk for 1333. first before tring to get 1600.

Set qpi/vtt to 1.355 Dram vtolage to 1.66.

see what that does for you.

what is your vcore set at? try setting to Normal

Are you really using Fail Safe, or Optimized as a starting point? You need to start with Optimized, then save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS and set all your settings and don't forget SATA/Disk settings.
