    Yes, just start with default CPU frequency and stabilize FSB settings first.

    just tried the 3.2 ghz oc, ran IBT standard, it passed. does that mean its stable?

    Somewhat stable, try LinX with 3072MB, what are core temps?
    Run Prime small for 2 hours then blend for 8+ hours.
    For finl stability test I run one Prime95 worker while I am using the computer for 1-2 days, if it doesn't crash or hang on reboot, I call it stable. But I had crashes even after all that testings.

    EDIT: and please post GFlops for the LinX run.

    highest temp on linx was 58 degrees at 3072 mb. doesnt seem like my temps changed much from 2.66 to 3.2

    It's why i need to know GFlops. If they are lower than expected the CPU does not operate at it's full power.

    ah, GFlps look just right. You want to test stability or push it further before you do?What are your current settings?
