No problem man, thanks! I'm always happy to help!

I do not run 4.5Ghz for daily use, so I'm not sure how to advise on that for 24/7 use, but I can try later on if you want and still need help.

Here is what I use for 4.2Ghz, I'll leave voltages in a range because my CPU is volt hungry and what I use isn't going to be what you need necessarily.

If/when I run 4Ghz uncore I use 1.47-1.57 QPI/Vtt depending on the timings I use and what I am doing.

Try this maybe for 4.5Ghz / 2000ish ram

Okay I am at 4.565 MHz on ratio 27 now memory is running at 2028 right now running them at stock 8-10-8-27 (wanted to see if could boot to windows with new ratio and blck) now pretty much kept much of everything else the same now the strange thing is that I ran LinX 10 passes GFlops 99.0187 and passed 1st time 10 passes ( I will test more later) Temps Idle 27'c at full load they are at 66'c. I don't know if that is just luck or what but more test will tell.

    Awesome to hear!

If you can't get 7-9-7 going at 2028, then try 7-9-8 instead. It should be easy either way, and may need a slight bump in voltage but probably not.

Okay great just tried 7-9-7 kept getting 1 memtest error will try 7-9-8 now. What is safe to run the voltage for ram? I tried 7-9-7 max at 1.72 but still got error.

is it just me, but running the ram higher than 1.68-1.7 is risky, or am I just over cautious?

Well awhile back I was told that ram can be run at much higher than what its rated to run at but so far that said sometimes I still don't want to go over 1.70v just for the fact that if something happens I can't get these sticks no where else as I called Mushkin and they aren't producing them at the moment due to the tragedy that happened in Japan.

1 Memtest error? No this memory will be fine running higher voltages (keep under 1.75 for stability on air).

I just sent you a PM about that, sometimes more voltage will hold you back and there's been times where I had to use less than stock to even get a boot going.

Mushkin is always generously binned, it can always go past the speed it's rated at (Sometimes you may need to use looser timings though), and it can usually run rated speeds with lower timings than rated as well.

Yes, this kit was EOL before it even launched really, way before the Japan tragedy, so the only place to find them is how I found this set for you (IE Get lucky)

You'll be fine using more voltage, but it may not be needed, see my PM

Good luck, and keep at it you will get it - don't let it frustrate you though, if you get bothered by it wait and try again later.
