Okay took a day off of overclocking and started again about 1 1/2 hour ago but so far so good for my 24/7 overclock at 4.2GHz low voltages Vcore at 1.35625v in bios and so far so good. QPI/VTT = 1.395v. Still working toward 7-9-7 currenlty still at 7-10-7 when I try 7-9-7 I get 1 error with Memtest about 14 minutes into test #5 not sure what more to increase to get that stable? I tried DRAM 1.70v then increasing QPI/VTT but no help. I'm thinking that IOH Core/ICH Core/IOH Clock Skew/CPU Clock Skew one of those might be able to help? But I haven't yet found anything online regarding a few of them.

For your 7-9-7 did you try QPi/Vtt 1.4-1.5 with Ram at 1.66?

If not try that and see if it helps, you may also want to try 3.8-4Ghz uncore while you do that, sometimes higher uncore helps too.

    Good luck!

Maybe they can't do 7-9-7, but I kinda doubt that since my kit can do 6-9-6

Shauntx - LSD, Just three questions. Will this RAM work on X58A-UD9 ? Where did you find the RAM ? Do they have anymore in stock ? I really think this RAM would be great for benching. It takes over 7 hours to run 20 passes of Linx with 24 GB's of my Trident RAM / HT Enabled - Over 2 hours with 12 GB's and HT off. Sure would like to get my hands on this RAM. Thanks wibujo

Finally got it! Had to drop my Bclk off 1 to 167 for some reason and now I'm passing Memtest #5 over 30 passes so far.

    Hey Wibujo,

I was in your same boat about 2 weeks ago until LSD pointed me in the right direction. I myself LOVE these ram sticks I have never been able to push ram the way these can. I am following now LSD review and easy enough the timmings he posted are working like a charm. I just got stable running 2008MHz at 7-9-7-24 1t now its time to try 6-9-7. If I were you I would look online like a forum like overclock.net in the sale section because someone might and I do mean might be willing to sell for the right price.

I hope you are able to find them because you too will fall in love with these sticks.

If you think ram will reduce bench time or increase GFlops by any meaningfull amout you are probably misteken.
Simply set them 910-9-27 and see what difference it make.

This may result in 10 minute less with 24GB and 3 minutes less with 12GB :-)
    What is your uncore frequency?
