    Default 2 PWM pump on UD7 ??

Just want to be sure on this.
I want to add an extra MCP35X PWM pump to my loop (both pumps would be the same)
    Swiftech

...and want to use this Gelid y-adapter to keep them running off the UD7 mobo

I'm guessing it should be ok for the mobo ??

How many amps does that pump draw, it's not mentioned in the link above?

The limit on motherboard headers is 3 amps at 12v. It doesn't look ideal to me, but I've never used those smaller pumps so not sure how much power they draw

Using that adapter is just fine, that pump draws it's power from Molex connector.

There is a technical specifications chart lower on the page.

And yes it does draw its power from the molex connector, the PWM 4 pin connector is only for the PWM + RPM Signals.

Looks like I'm good to go...

    Thanks guys

Ahh sorry guys, I didn't notice that was a RPM wire only!

You'll probably want to cut one of the RPM wires from the pump, or it might not register RPM's right? We have to do that when we combine fans

That pump is PWM controlled, what he wants is to split PWM signal to control speed of two pumps simultaneously. I'm assuming that Gelid adapter only uses rpm signal from one output like this Akasa splitter that I use: Akasa Thermal Solution

OK, ya that is what I was concerned with, wasn't sure if those adapters only used one RPM wire or not.

I need to get me two of those then for my 4 Rad fans, so when I buy new ones which I plan shortly I wont have to cut up the wires again. Thanks!

I know that one of the fan connector has only 3 wires and the other has 4, but I will double check the wiring.

    Thanks !!!
