    K. I'll rem that. All the tests at 3CH -Four Modules checked out "No Problem" in WMDT. Back to square one... So far its 6GB=No Error and 8GB=No Error, all DIMMs tested with WMDT. I'm lost, what settings should I try to slow the ram down? Should I CLR CMOS and load failsafe and WMDT test? I'll keep doing CLR CMOS>Load Optimized>SaveExit>IDE to AHCI>test other settings etc... until you guys say otherwise.

EDIT: BTW: Dirt installed no CRC with 8GB. So at least now when I have to work I can remove the two DDR3_4 and DDR3_6. I really need 12GB as I use 3DS MAX, AfterEffects, Painter, and Photoshop regularly. Based on it working 6GB&8GB 3CH w CLR'ed CMOS & everything else default (except IDE to AHCI) what do guys suggest trying?

EDIT2: Updated first post with summary. I'll try to make it clearer later.

    EDIT3: OK Heres the sitrep:

I used Memtest86+ to test the DIMMs. I put a small piece of duct tape on Batch B and nothing on Batch A so I don't lose track on which is which. Batch A is installed in the white slots and one from Batch B installed in DDR3_2 (8GB 3CH). So I ran Memtest and got no errors. I swapped the first DIMM (DDR3_2) and tested again, immediately got red errors. I put duct tape and wrote bad on that DIMM. Swapped the first with the last from Batch B and got no errors. Tried only Batch B in the white slots (6GB 3CH) and got no errors. So the "bad" isn't bad?? Dunno. I put Batch A in the blue slots (12GB 3CH) and tested for over 2 hours, NO ERRORS! BIOS settings are only Optimized Defaults, FS Logo Disabled, Init Displ PCIEx16-1, and IDE to AHCI.This is where I'm at now.

I'm gonna run Microsoft Memory Diag Tool and see if it throws that "Hardware" problem again. If it does then I'm back to square one (UPDATE: PASSED - NO HARDWARE PROBLEM), but if it doesn't then I'm gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling the Apps that threw the CRC's. Possibly the pins/slots are not perfect | don't seat properly, or that one DIMM | Batch B doesn't like the latency on those white slots? I dunno. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of being crash-tastic. ;)

FINAL EDIT TO THIS POST ;) : Installed Dirt No CRC problems @ 12GB! No mem errors in MemTest or WMDT! I consider this issue solved. Thanks to Lsdmeasap, Acebmxer, wazza300, and the rest who helped out!

    Possible Reasons For Errors:
    1) One overly sensitive DIMM. Possibly affected by EMP of the Intel fan close to it or something else related to DDR3_2 slot.
    2) Not all pins contacting|DIMMs not seated properly.<-I'm leaning towards this despite having seated multiple times with similar results and always being careful when seating.

Great! Cold start today and I got a BSD.

    AAaand a quick WMDT test???

I'm lost on this one. I haven't changed a thing except installing applications. You think my power supply is not up to the task? It's a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS 12V. I'm @ a deadend with solutions other than pulling out two sticks. Throw some ideas my way and I'll test tonight. Great way to spend a Fri night huh?

I tried going back throw the other post I dont think its was said but I think it would be a good Idea to check the cpu socket for bent pins. post some images of the socket LSD is good at finding bent pins. Make sure you are in a well lit room do not use the camera flash put the camera in macro mode if you can. Take pics from different angles around the socket.

So you have NO issues with 6gb ram installed in white slots but with 12gb you get BSOD 0x001A? post your full bios settings with 6gb stable and then post the settings that you used for 12gb.

Have you tried both setts of 3x2gb sticks and make sure the system is stable?

    This is the 12GB MemTest

I pulled out two DIMMs, so heres the MemTest on that

Here's some of the BIOS settings

It worked yesterday all defaults. Like I said before the only I change after the CLR CMOS is load the Optimized Defaults>FS Logo=Disabled>Init Disp=PCIEx16_1>Change the four IDE to AHCI.

I'll update more on your other suggestions later. I'll pull all the DIMMS out an see if I can get some macro snaps of that to.

Yea. Both batches (6GB 3x2GB) in the white slots for two hours+ on MemTest didn't throw any failures.

I have to go but what I'll do is put the Batch B in the slots (3x2GB) and turn on MemTest and let it run until I come back. I'm still suspicious about that Batch.

You have alot of stuff on AUTO even for Default.. In a Perfect world that would be great but we all know the world we live in is not perfect. You have to specify you settings even for default. The mother board tends to under/over volt or even fluctuate voltage under load with voltages set at auto.

Tried looser ram timings of 9.9.9.28? Could just be a badly matched set

Here's Batch B after five+ hours (white slots):

Here's Batch A after almost two hours (white slots):

    Put full 12GB in
    (CLR CMOS)
    (Set Opt. Defaults)
    (Save Exit)
    FS Logo=Disabled
    Init Disp=PCIEx16_1
Changed the four IDE to AHCI

Test with MemTest again, as expected red fail quickly.

OK, so first I tried wazza300s suggestion (9-9-9-28) since it's easy and guess what? It works (Enter BIOS,Quick setting>9-9-9-28 That's it):

It would have failed red before the first min and I'm looking at it now and it's been running 31 min+.

I printed out your suggestion Acebmxer just in case I need it tomorrow ;)
After this test I'll grab and post the QPI/Vtt info from ET6.
Anything else happens I'll update as usual...

    EDIT:

    Looking good...again ;)

Here's the ET6 snap, same settings as mentioned (everything Auto, only the 9-9-9-28 timing change etc.)

    Crossing fingers for tomorrow...

    Looking good man!

You may need to increase QPI/Vtt a bit, that is a little low for 12GB, but you are running the memory and uncore at a slow speed so it might be ok.
