    Whitch set do you have Newegg.com - 12GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws

i still think its memory cause when in game memory is used to load the game and all textures
with 12 GB at least bump up your memory vottage to 1.64
also bump up you QPI to 1.35 and try games

    I'm using these:

    Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

Back then I had a P55 setup and I had like 4 of them, I decided to get another set making it 12GB altogether. Could my power supply be an issue as well? I know 1000 watts is enough but I keep hearing some people saying 1200 watts is required for GTX 580's in SLI since it uses up a lot of power.

Pull back to 6GB and see if the issue goes away or not, if it does not then yes it might be the power supply possibly, or could just be mixed memory batches causing it since you bought them at different times.

I am not sure if this effect anything are not with memory but your memory is Dual Channel memory board use tri-Channel memory like i said im not sure there is a differance in the memory it self other then a matching set
yes it might be the power supply possibly. do you have power going to the 2 molx plugs one is at bottom of board faceing down other is behind heat pipes this adds power for PCIE 16 slots

also what slot are video card in i run mine in one and 5 that leave to PCIE 16 between cards

Alright, I found out what is the problem. Apparently my second GTX 580 is the one causing the crashing, and people who owns a Gigabyte GTX 5xx cards have the exact same issue.

    GTX 570 OC PROBLEM !!!!!!
GTX Ti560 OC - Not stable at stock speeds

Funny because my first GTX 580 runs perfectly fine, whenever I run 3dMark11 on the second card the demo will hang and benchmark tests will fail, interesting. RMA'ing the second card as I speak.

Nice to see you found the issue! So with that card by itself the issue still happens, then when you use your older one it doesn't?

Yeah the older one works perfectly fine, I've already reported the issue to Gigabyte GTS, hopefully they will do something about this. And I'm RMA'ing the second card as well.
