Default Clarify for me, Advanced Clock Controls? What do they do?

Not a novice here, but could someone clarify what the options in Advanced Clock Control do (for my EP45-UD3P)? I've tried the ol' Google, but results are few and the language is a bit convoluted.

Specifically how they relate to my CPU and FSB.

Also, where to find the revision # on the mobo? Its a little cramped in there and would save me time if I knew where to look (have 2 kids so now I'm more of an armchair OC'er).

    Thanks in advance-

The revision of the board is printed above the far PCI slot I/O Panel side.

I can only assume the clock drive is the strenvgth of the signal.

The clock is feeding both the MCH and the CPU. In order that data sent by the MCH to the CPU or vise versa will be synchronized the signal must arrive at both ends at the same time.
The clock skews let you control the signal arrivel.

    appreciate your answer.

Also, can anyone explain to me -

1- What does the f11d BIOS bring to my board? I can't find any release notes or documentation.

2- Would I be better off using the southbridge, Gigabyte SATA chip or my Silicon Image si3132 pcix raid card? Which chip would yield the best results? (2 36gb raptors w/ 16kb stripe)

F11d has the fix for sandforce SSD's (Updated Intel RAID ROM), so yes this would be beneficial for you since you are trying to decide where to put an array.

I am not sure about that card, so you'd have to test the Intel ICH10R Vs your RAID Card, the Gigabyte/J.Micron ports are terribly slow so you can forget about those :)

Another Q - Downloaded the f11d BIOS for the ep45-ud3p... but the file extension is ep45ud3p.11d - do I need to rename it to .bin??

nope all is fine. You can rename it .xxx if you wanted to and it will still work.
