0x3b is low vcore. Try like wazza suggested. then try giving vcore a bump up one or two. Please give us your full settings in bios.

X58 Bios.txtIt ran fine for about a week maybe and then starting crashing every raid 0 i setup about 4 in a row, thought it was bad(s) hdd (wich were all new), did a full media scan with the DataLifeguard tools, wrote 0's on all 4 times no errors ever. Reinstalled windows 4 times. 4 hrs prime95 and 10 passes with memtest86+ no errors before it started crashing so I RMA'ed the board thinking it was bad but this one dose the same thing. I just installed a Thermaltake TR2 RX 850w PSU and if that don't work than I just don't know, CPU???

I can run test on my CPU and RAM right now and they will pass though, I've done it quite a few times now.

    Thanks for the reply everyone,

I've tried the vcore settings went from auto to manual 1.28750 - 1.35 and it didn't change anything still crashed. I'm testing the PSU now and everythimg seems stable for now its been about an hour and a half.

This may be a stupid question but how do I get the bios settings in my post insted of the link?

Try these settings instead and see if that helps, I bet your Uncore in Auto is too high or too low

    Code:

    Bi-Directional PROCHOT ..................... [AUTO]

    Uncore & QPI Features:
QPI CLOCK RATIO..............................[AUTO] << Set x36 or x44, both will be fine for 133 Bclk
    QPI Link Speed ..............................[4.8GHz] <-- cAN'T CHANGE
UNCORE CLOCK RATIO...........................[AUTO] << Manually set, always twice the memory multiplier or 1-2 above. So for x12 memory multiplier, set 24-26 here

    SOLVED

I think the new PSU I installed did the trick. Ran my system all night and all day while I was at work and no crashes it even seemed to run better than it ever did

There are more LED's on the board I've never seen during POST, so I think with Everyones help its good to go.

I'm going to try the bios setting that Lsdmeasap gave me and also set my raid back up. I will post back with the results.

Thanks to everyone, if it wasn't for you guys I don't know what I would have done, You are all AWSOME.

Awesome to hear you solved this!!

So was the old PSU faulty you think, or just not fully compatible maybe?

Cool Re: Windows Crashing Hard on my X58-UD3R rev. 2.0

I'm up and running with no problems not sure about the old PSU yet I havent had time to test it but I have a feeling thats what it was. When I purchased the PSU it stated it was core i7 compatable so who knows I will test it and let everyone know.

I have one more question if you don't mind, The power fan reading in the bios dosn't read RPM's it just read "0" even if there's a fan connected. I noticed because the first board I RMA'ed did the same thing. Is this normal for this board or a bios problem?
I have my RAM cooler connected to it.

I also used the bios setup Lsdmeasap posted to try and that worked very well for me too, so hats off.
