Default Windows Crashing Hard on my X58-UD3R rev. 2.0

    Hello all,

Within the last week I can't keep windows 7 x64 running for more than a couple of hours without a BSOD the BS is System Service Excemption as of the time of writing and just hangs at the BS. with a bad buzzing sound windows will start back up and acording to the event viewer its a kernel power error code 41. I have swaped out my ram I'm now running 6 gigs of patriot viper xtreme 1600MHz trip ch. PX736G1600LLK using profile1 with 8-9-8-24 CR2 @ 1.65v (1.66 in bios) QPI/VTT 1.31v the rest on auto with no OC.

I've tried different HDD's, RAM as stated above, video, and reinstalling windows several times with BS's no changes. Sometimes getting memory mangement BS's also. I'm leaning to the PSU cuz I stress tested the CPU with prime95 4 hrs all pass, ran memtest86+ on ram 10 passes all good. Any ideas would be great I've read other posts that were similer to my problem but I'm stumped at this point. Tried so many things I'm confused at what to try next.

Note: Please ignore the ram in my signature.

You do seem to have a lot of components in your sig for a 650w psu,you could try with one gpu though to see if it improves things?

    Thanks for the reply wazza300,

Sorry I forgot to say I'm only running 1 gpu for now and I had all of the hardware running on my old EP45-UD3P v1.6 core 2 board before I upgraded to the X58.

    Thanks again,

I'm trying the 1.32-1.34 qpi voltage now and yes all the c states enabled. I'll post back as soon as it crashes or not.

    Hello agian

Tried uping the to 1.335 since the options are 1.31 - 1.335 or 1.355 but it didn't work or it caused something els to crash the blue screen was Driver_not_less_or_equal. But the event view still states kerel power code 41.

See if you can find out exactly what the bsod error code is. In my sig there is a link to a list of bsod error codes and their corrections. You still may need more qpi/vtt voltage depending on the exact bsod error code.

Another think please grab a bios template from my sig and please fill it out with your current bios settings that are failing you.. You may have more then one setting not set correctly. Having this will help us better help you.

Sorry it took so long to post back but the system became very unstable and I couldn't finish last night. The last BS I got was System_Service_exception -- STOP 0x0000003B -- with more codes after that.
