Default Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6 Not displaying anything on screen

Ok guys I need some help. I bought a second hand computer with a GA-EP45-DQ6 board and 2x2gb kingston hyperX ddr 2 ram. After a day it started to continually restart itself randomly and crash. I removed one of the sticks of ram and from then it worked for about a week. It would load logo and begin the bios but hang as soon afterwards until it started rebooting itself again. Thinking it was the ram again i tried a different stick of ram from a working computer to no avail. I replaced the graphics card to no avail. I then used the button for clearing the Cmos to no avail.

Being frustrated as i could have i stripped the entire machine down till everything was out of the box and on its own. I replaced the heat paste on the CPU... turned it on and now it doesn't reboot however nothing is displayed on the screen and the CPU fan doesn't seem to work but all of the other fans which are plugged into the motherboard work. I dont have another fan to try tho :( Does anybody have any idea's on what i can do.....help would be very much appreciated

P.S the board has been overclocked but to my knowledge the cpu hasn't. I remember seeing the same set up working perfectly in a different tower but i just seem to have problem after problem since his working changed it for me.

Check out http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post301218 to help troubleshoot your system.

Once you are able to boot, I suggest using the basic settings in http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post295784, after you have loaded Optimzed Bios defaults and applied the basic settings.

We can help you tweak your bios settings for optimal performance and/or overclocked settings.

**edit** Does your system power up the attached fans?
Do you have a case speaker connected to your motherboard?
If yes, the case speaker should give you a series of beeps if the system keeps trying to reboot.
A single beep means that everything is okie-dokie.

Did you see any bent pins when you removed the CPU? Might want to check now, in case you bent some installing or when you removed the CPU the second time.
