Ok, update, I raised the Vcore to 1.275 and ran Linx for 5 times, Set Priority to High, 2560MB, 92s per cycle, 44-45 GFlops. Guess it was the Vcore...

    What's next?

    P.S.

This sucks, I can't believe my CPU won't even do 3.2 @ stock when people are doing 4 GHz on 1.35...

Keep upping FSB for 100MHz CPU each time.
What can you do, I have E7200 that did 3.9GHz om P43 board with lower voltage but higher temps than this one.
3.8GHz not a bad overclock at all if temps/voltages are good. More important than the vcore you set is what is it in CPU-Z.

Yeah I know that the Voltage in the Mobo is not accurate and CPUZ is really what counts...

Anyway, it's getting late, I'll keep testing tomorrow evening, I aim to find stable 3.5 by tomorrow, can you please advise which voltages I should start raising after Vcore? And what GFlops should I get for 2560MB for 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5?

    Thanks again

just multiply the result from 3.2GHz by the new CPU frequency and divide by 3.2GHz.
    e.g. 44 x 3300 / 3200 = 45.3 expected for 3300
That's the estimate, might be a bit less. Always record the highest result.

Just vcore untill the bus unstable, then try to tweck MCH/CPU references without more VTT.
Some more MCH Core might be needed.

    Chike,

I didn't have time to run tests today, but since 100MHz increments will take me more time to test and tweak settings how about trying 200MHz increments?
I updated my signature to have my full system spec and i'll post my full BIOS template as well, I also consulted with profJim and he asked for this information.

Hopefully I'll have some new info on Thursday.

    Thanks

This can work too, just work the references before increasing VTT while it's possible.

Thanks for providing the link to your memory, they sure are ugly.....
....almost as ugly as my new 4x2GB Kingston HyperX T1 memory that's arriving shortly
    I'm not complaining, 8GB of DDR2 1066 (5-5-5-15 @ 2.2 volts) memory for $84 after rebates

    Zache_ signature.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I liked the my PIs until I had to RMA them, the new PI Black I got as a replacement look better IMO.

Ohh ya, I had a set of those once with blue labels, they are kinda iffy looking. You're right, the black ones look nicer, and the new PI's look good too.
