In my sig is a list of bsod error codes. Generally error 0x124 is vtt voltage is too much or not enough.

You can try increasing vtt voltage/cpu termination voltage. Not sure how it would be worded in that older motherboards bios.

The error codes have been tested from P45 chip sets to the latest P67 chip sets.

Also you may want to grab a bios template from my sig and fill it in with your current settings that are failing. Also are you trying to run at default settings or overclocking?

If you can't find Vtt in your BIOS, please show us an image of your CPU overclock and voltage pages so we can see if you have that option or not.

I do apologize for not getting back sooner. I gave up for now.

Everything I tried failed. I even tried a different power supply so now that I think about it i wonder if the two Antec I used went bad and messed up the board?

I did hear a low buzz sound on one of them and removed it. I have thought about purchasing a new power supply with enough juice to power this old system.

Is it possible the motherboard was fried? That would really suck!

If the power supply died, then yes it could have damaged the board, but if it didn't die I doubt it did any damage.

Did you check the BIOS for the above mentioned settings yet?
