    I ran 14 hours blend overnite, and 50 standard IBT tests with no errors, memtest+ was error free too.

    However..... I just tried 480x7.5, with 1.28vMCH, 1.32v VCore, 5-6-6-18 timings/OC-1200 driving strength 10 tRD, and it corrupted my OS. It restarts at the glowing windows logo about 6-8 seconds into loading every time at those settings.

    What is a restart at that point a symptom of?

    Probably a corrupted operating system.
    Do you have a recent saved disk image backup of your boot drive?
    If not, you might be able to use the windows Repair Option or let windows use the most recent windows backup.
    Pressing F8 several times while booting should give you the menu with these options.

    BTW, anything over 5 - 10 IBT loops is excessive. Many have passed IBT/LinkX tests only to have systems fail Prime95 or other stress tests.
    The SPC2CPUz (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to CPUz) will certainly be coming to pay you a visit very soon.

    Does it also restart when you use the stable settings?
    I myself use IBT just as a preliminary test for rough stability and performance test.
    I find Prime95 more effitient and easy to repeat stability test.

    No, when I revert to 467FSB stable settings, I had two instances of h.264 video conversions, while running Prime95 blend and listening to .mp3s. I've 12+ hour prime blended this machine, IBT and memtest as well at stable 467FSB settings. No problems.

    BUT as soon as I tried 480FSB with vcore and one tick MCH increase it restarts during OS loading... So that is what I am confused as to what the problem is- is why it will run memtest but won't boot into windows.

    Also- it will restart and refuse to load os and just keep restarting, but as soon as I load stable 467FSB settings, it boots right into windows no problems.

    try 1.3-1.32 mch for 480 cpu ref .find stable ref voltages.
    Enter in the ones that are shown when you have default settings loaded and then save the bios then apply your overclock settings/voltages.

    Perhaps drop the cpu multiplier downto 7 or 6.5 and test if you can get the memory to run at 480 fsb on a 2:00 multiplier either D or B .If you cant get the memory to run at a higher fsb at any settings with an understressed cpu, its not likely to work with full cpu multiplier on.

    Your bandwidth is around what I was getting with mmax ,perhaps a little lower,but thats all the chipset will give ,around 9-10,maybe close to 11 if your lucky.

    A higher fsb will compensate for any loss of memory multiplied speed.

    my older sshots and jpg's seem to be gone from tweaktown ,i had about 10 of them,perhaps its because Im using a different machine,i thought they were stored on site tho.

    Please Post stable settings for 467MHz FSB.

    Well, the first time it was fully corrupted, windows repair would not even load without erroring out. I was forced to reinstall windows and now I am able to replicate the restarting when using 480FSB. After a restart I will load stable 467 and loads fine.

    I did a quick experiment with 480MHz FSB, and the only voltages I had to raise were vcore(1.375 inn BIOS) and MCH Core 1.18v, however i have CPU reference 0.744 @ 1.2v VTTand MCH reference 0.72v @ 1.2v VTT,and CPU Clock Skew 150.
    The CPU Reference is the lowest I have, and both MCH Reference and CPU Clock Skew are at ther finest value, any more or less cause instability.
    These settings are stable enough to pass 1 IBT run and about 5 tests of Prime95.

    I a a greatbeliever in fine tunning rather in brut force.
    I suggest first to test 480MHz FSB with SMM 2.00D(tRD 9 worked for me) and run memtest86+ test #5 before running windows, adjust references and clock skews to their best value with minimal VTT and MCH Core, then continue with windows tests.

    EDIT: BTW can you post a memory benchmark results for the 467x settings?
