Default EX58-UD3R, no post after 1+ yrs of working fine, no beeps, 2 green, 1 amber, 1 red ph

I downloaded a game last night and started playing it. After 5 min in my computer resets itself and then won't post.

    I have:
    replaced vid card
resecured all connections including reseating the cpu
removed all ram, tried combinations of ram in different slots

It will not beep at all, I thought it should, at least when there is no ram.

I have removed everything got all the dust out. reinstalled the mobo and psu.
    have 1 stick of ram in, mushkin enhanced hp3-12800 9 9 9 24 1.5-1.6v

I haven't put the cooler back on but it wasn't beeping either before I removed it.

phase lights are 2 green, 1 amber 1 red from bottom to top.

Any help would be great. Also I can't seem to find if this mobo
has a built in speaker so perhaps that's part of why no beeps.
    thanks

Please don't run your cpu without a cooler attached,it can get hot and cause further damage very quickly, have you tested with another psu? Psu's are put under a lot of strain when gaming, you need to test with another just to rule it out, could try removing mb battery for 30mins or overnight too,to fully clear cmos

    thanks for the reply wazza.

The box hasn't been run for more than 30 seconds since I removed the cooler.

I don't have an extra psu to "try" out on it...the voltages seemed good when I checked with the voltmeter ~12.5v.

Yes,sometimes overnight is needed, also you have to attach a mb speaker to these mb's,near where you plug the front panel switch/reset ect,I would still try and borrow another psu,I wouldn't rely on readings personally,I can't think whatelse you could try,I still wouldn't run my cpu without a cooler though

ok, I got a chance to try another psu, no difference.
I also left the batt out over night. Going to go pickup a mb speaker to see if there's any beeps.
Is there any way to test a PSU to ensure that I won't blow up a new MB if I buy one?

I think you will be fine on a new mb seeing that your current mb won't power up with two psu's now,you can pick up a mb speaker off eBay if you have it,you could inspect the cpu socket for bent pins aswell maybe some got bent when re seating cpu? Tested all three ram sticks one at a time in each white slot one by one? Try that,it will boot up with one stick in any white ram slot
If still no boot I would fill in an rma ticket on gigabytes site or contact place of purchase for rma and repair

You're testing with the memory in the white slots correct? Just checking to be sure, as you must use those slots if using only 1-3 sticks.

Have you tried it out of the case and off the motherboard tray yet? If not that should be how you test next, and I'd also remove all hard drives and CD drives as well, those can cause a non boot too sometimes if they are bad.

If you can't find a speaker on ebay, they are cheap ($0.99) at this site and they ship to Canada and usually don't rob you on shipping prices either.
