Thumbs down What ram DOES work with EP45-DS3L

Corsair 2x2gigs always show corruption and I have no idea how to adjust timings to get a more stable rig. Would 2 x 1g G. Skills work better?

    Which model corsair?
Can you please attach a text report of CPU-Z?

    Load optimized default then
    Set Performance Enhance standard
Set MCH Core 1.16-1.24v (try lower first, increase if not stable)
Run Prime95 blend torture 6+ hours.

I mean the text report of CPU-Z you can create it in the about tab of CPU-Z.

    BLACK.txt
    Optimized defaults hang my system.
My MHC is set to .950 volts because anything higher hangs.
also my memory timing is manually changed to 5-5-5 20 from 5-5-5 18 and voltage at 1.9 V because the automatic default causes my system to hang.
Although with this set-up I don't hang, I still get lots and lots of blue screens. several a day.
Currently Prime95 doesn't even run for 5 seconds b4 it hits an error. When my bios is set to optimized defaults, it runs for longer, but as i mentioned above, my system freezes up and I have to manually reset my computer.

    edit: also my memory is actually "CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5." sorry.

    Memory Enhance standard?
Optimized default set MCH Core to 1.1v, do you change it before running Prime95?
Also try DRAM Voltage 1.92-1.96v, I saw it is reported 1.86v by CPU-Z is that set manually or auto?

Memory Enhance is set to standard. I change MHC core to lower or my system freezes after a few minutes or even during post or while looking at bios. My ram voltage is manually set to 1.9 in bios.

What I meant is what is the difference with optimized defaults that you said running longer Prime95 from current settings?

the difference was manually setting the timings back to 5 5 5 18 instead of 5 5 5 20 which is what i use to avoid hangings (optimized defaults sets it to "auto")
I also had MHC core at .950 V and the ram voltage at 1.9 V

edit: I just tested right now:
the voltage was actually above .950V (1.050 V let me run prime95 for longer but then my system froze up) RAM was at 1.92 and everthing else is optimized defaults, but memory is set to "standard"
changing back to .950 V for MCH core gives an error in Prime95, but I don't freeze up.

I'd also like to ask what the settings in my bios should be in order for my to run my 2x2gigs of ram, because .950 seems to be going in the wrong direction of the default from what i've read in other threads. would i have to adjust advanced timings manually, as well? currently everything is still set at auto optimized default except memory enhancement is on standard, MCH Core is on .950 V, and RAM is on 1.9 V.

edit: if it helps, Prime95 gives this error on blend (pretty much within the first 20 seconds of running): "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4"

Prime95 Also fails on In-place Large FFT's within the same time-frame with the same error, but small fft's runs for much longer.

If large FFT fails and small not it's almost certain memory issue.
Rarely users need to set low MCH Core, as of why we don't know.
Have you ran memtest86+? If not lets start with this. On their site there is installer for a bootable USB flash-drive if you don't want to burn a bootable CD.
