Yes you can check BIOS version on the MAIN page of the BIOS by pressing F9 for system info, or you can also check with CPU-z in the mainboard tab

I've been busy at work lately, but was able to run it with all for sucks to start to make site one was failing before trying it individually. It did find some errors toward the end, so I will start narrowing it down this week.

I should be done by the middle or end of the week. Thanks for everything, will let you know how it goes!

Finished running the memory tests and found out a stick was bad. Pulled it out, ran Shogun 2 and still ran into the same crashing problems. Same issue, black screen, looping audio, etc. Gah!!!! Not sure what the next steps could be...? Any ideas?

As always, thanks for all the help!

does it crash on just that game or on all games? and does the good stick pass all the mem tests? still might be faulty if they were a matched pair

Shogun and Skyrim, could be an issue with the game. Dunno, can't seem to repeat it on anything outside of those two yet. I think i'm just going to give up on it unless I run into problems on other games. I tried all sticks individually and there was only one with errors which I took out of the system.

    Thanks again!

Ya if it's only those games, then it could be a driver compatibility issue, or just those games need updates or something like that.

Sorry to hear about your faulty memory module, but at least you've found it now rather than trying to wrestle with it for a long time and not know you had a bad one in the mix.
