    Default PC error

Please find my spec attached (at an idle).

I'm currently getting stop error 7F, 0x00000008 when I try and play video games, also I sometimes will just randomly lose display, mouse and keyboard tried swapping out to a usb keyboard for ps2 connections.

How hot the CPU gets when gaming?
Try to run memtest86+ for a few passes, see if you get any errors.

    Hi there,
are you running the latest BIOS version?
If not you can download it from here: GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3 - GA-MA790FXT-UD5P (rev. 1.0) For your CPU you need ot be running at least f7 but, if it is the lower watt version then you need the F8N.

For more info on the stop error check here: Stop 7F, 0x00000008 (double-fault) error occurs because of a single-bit error in the ESP register

OP here run memtest no errors. CPU sticks around 45 Celsius when running games. Reading up on how to update bios, don't wanna stuff it up. Also got a new error today 0x0000000 3f. why do I feel like I'm going to need to replace my mobo n CPU. *sigh*

Seems like a memory setting if it's freezing, even if its error free i would manually set dram voltage to what's printed on your ram, maybe try one/two clicks more northbridge voltage than what auto uses

    Hi again,

check here for a guide on how to flash BIOS using the QFlash utility: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ash-guide.html

Just noticed from your system specs that you are running an SLI configuration. Officially the motherboard supports Crossfire not SLI and this could be at the root of the problem. Do you get the same problems when running only one GPU?

Updated bios so far so good thanks for all the replies and the help guys. Also lol @ mobo not supporting SLI, geuss I missed that when I put this together. Been running fine for the past 3 years tho. Might have something to do with it being sandwiched into the 1 card?
