My new Startech USB 3.0 SATA Dock won't work with my GA-EX58-UD5 (V1.0) running win7-64 Ultimate. I'm using the standard win7-64 Ultimate drivers. I know the MB isn't 3.0 but the dock is supposed to be backwards compatible with USB 2.0. Windows recognises a USB device and loads a driver but I end up with two additional drives in My Computer listed as "System Reserved (F:) 70.3 MB free of 99.9MB" and "Local Disk (L:)", neither of which are accessible (win explorer crashes). Startech claims the standard win driver should work. Seems like a driver problem. Is it safe to try the latest Intel ICH10R driver?
