    tRTP..................................: 3
    Command Rate (CMD) ...................: 2
    Driving Strength Profiles

    Channel A
    Static tRead Value....................: 7
    tRD Phase0 Adjustment.................: Auto
    tRD Phase1 Adjustment.................: Auto
    tRD Phase2 Adjustment ................: Auto
    tRD Phase3 Adjustment.................: Auto
    Trd2rd(Different Rank)................: Auto
    Twr2wr(Different Rank)................: Auto

    Trd2wr(Same/Diff Rank)................: Auto
Dimm1 Clock Skew Control..............: Auto ps
Dimm2 Clock Skew Control..............: Auto ps
    Channel B
    Static tRead Value....................: 7

Everything is manually set unless it says Auto next to it.

    Here's the CPU-Z Report.

    Yes those.
Nothing obvious in the settings that may contribute(negatively) to the problem.
I myself rather leave the advanced setting auto. I would have started with this.
Then try using 2,40B SMM, which may require higher tRD(Static tRead Value).

IMO it's a BIOS "bug". With my old P43 board this had never been resolved even with the latest BIOS version.

Cheers for looking. So is there any point in reflashing or upgrading the BIOS? Ive got the latest tested version on there at the mo (F12) but there's a beta available (F13d) though all it says in the description is 'Beta BIOS'. No other fixes are mentioned.

I'll try setting the advanced memory settings to auto but i'll admit im not knowledgeable at all when it comes to BIOS settings. I got help from this forum to get the oc i have first time round. :)

Also quick question. When you save and load BIOS setting profiles where are they kept? If i flash the BIOS again will i lose these saved profiles?

BIOS profiles are lost when you flash. You can save them to disk or USB flash-drive but they do not migrate between different BIOS versions.

Well looking through that CPU-Z report i posted above it appears i am running the latest beta BIOS version F13d...can't remember flashing it to that but hey-ho. Would it be an idea to revert back to BIOS Rev F12 and see if that helps?

Actually there is a later beta BIOS in the beta BIOS thread. Wouldn't count on it to fix it.
Have you tried setting the advanced timing to auto and/or changing multiplier?

Is there? Can you post a link. F13d is the latest on Gigabytes own website...

Havent tried changing the timings yet no. Im posting at work at the moment. :)

Do you have any suggestions of what to change settings to. As mentioned above Im not very knowledgeable at all when it comes to overclocking.

    Cheers.
