    Yes my modded version is based off the bios Chiesestunna posted. Just updated with newer intel raid rom, realtek lan rom and jmicron rom.

    As said you need this bios if you want VT-d support.

    I say it will void your warranty because if you call up gigabyte or send in your board for warranty work and they see that you have bios on it thats not ment for your board they will deny you warranty.

    You can flash back to a EX58-UD5 bios if you like.

    It would be better if you got a bios directly from Gigabyte for the EX58-ud5 as another user on a different forum is a having trouble crossflashing.

    If and when you get the new bios can you please post it here or the bios thread or start a new thread.

    No problem at all. In fact I should have asked gigabyte for a bios for that board also when I asked for a x58a-ud5 rev 2 board.

    I have yet to heard from Gigabyte. If you have some connection to Gigabyte, please go ahead asking for a vt-d enabled bios. If not, two trying is always better than one! Thanks.

    Well I dont have any contacts for gigabyte but I did send them a request today and the responded.

    EX58-UD5 Rev 1.0

    With VT-d Support
