    It worked on the first shot! BIOS settings are as I just previously posted with the following changes:

    Go for 459MHz FSB, 3.9GHz?
    If it doen's boot or fail tests you may need to be lowered more, or tweak CPU reference as well. Clock skews adjustments may still be needed.

    My MCH reference is at 0.72 @ 1.2v VTT with VTT at 1.22, works both with 450x8.5 and 475x8, I also have CPU reference at 0.744v @ 1.2v VTT, and 150ps CPU clock skew. Took a while to have them all at their best value, and I catty them for any settings I use, higher or lower FSB.

    EDIT: BTW I recommend running at least one loop of memtest86+ test #5 before starting window.
    To run test #5, or any other test, alone, press 1, 3, [test number], enter, 0.

    Absolutely awesome, I have higher temps with Prime95 @ 3.8GHz :(
    And GFlops looks just right.
    4GHz? Thant's about the limit of the memory with SMM 2.40B.

    I clocked up to 4.00 Ghz, and was able to boot

    Saw your post, so I ran memtest86+ at 465 x 8.5 x1116:

    So, I backed it down to 459 x 8.5 x 1101 and ran memtest again:

    Next move? Change CPU multiplier, SSM, both??

    First try higjer DRAM Voltage, 2.02-2.04v.
    Then try 1-2 clicks lower MCH Reference, then try working CPU Reference., then clock skews again.
    If Non helps, partially helps, try 1.22-1.24v VTT.

    EDIT: Oh I forgot.... vcore is not a bad word either try 2-3 clicks higher.
    I am going to sleep soon, hope you get it stable by the time I wake up :)

    Okay, per your advise I did a series of tests. All were capable of booting, but i ran memtest86+, with the results as follows.


    Increased VCore (3 clicks) to 1.29375 to eliminate that, based on your comment (also, Maintained this VCore for all of the following tests):
    Failed Memtest86

    DRam voltage increased 2.04V:
    Failed Memtest86

    Clicked MCH Reference down to 0.70V:
    Failed Memtest86

    With MCH Reference still at 0.70V, I performed the following tests:

    CPU Reference 0.745V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.730V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.700V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.670V:
    Failed Memtest86


    I then changed MCH Reference back to 0.74 to play with the CPU Reference Tests again (with the same results):

    CPU Reference 0.745V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.730V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.700V:
    Failed Memtest86
    CPU Reference 0.670V:
    Failed Memtest86


    I then changed MCH Reference back to 0.74V and performed all of the clock skew tests per your earlier post, for both MCH and CPU (10 tests total): All failed Memtest86

    I then changed:

    VVT: 1.22
    Failed Memtest86

    VVT: 1.24
    Failed Memtest86


    Changed back to the last extensively-tested stable settings from the last 24 hours (448 x 8.5 x 1075) and ran memtest86 on that config, since I hadn't done it (despite all the Prime95) testing, and Memtest86 did indeed pass for test #5 (1 pass).


    I seem to have used up all suggested procedures.
